Player of the season so far

Not to mention that Dabo has improved massively over the season. I don’t think he was good enough for the Championship at the start of the season. Hopefully, he’s a hit next season in the Championship!

Almost definitely League 1. We stayed up on GD that season, minus 10 points would’ve seen us go down.

Championship - How do we stay up?

Agreed with most of this. To start, I’m grateful that we’ve got a young side who are improving. Hyam, Rose, Dabo are all going to get better. On the fringes, Shipley, Westbrook and maybe even Jones are in that bracket too. We probably should’ve taken a risk and held onto Sam McCallum - but...

Championship - How do we stay up?

Dream land stuff. Assuming P’boro don’t get promoted, they still want an absolute monster fee for him.

Championship - How do we stay up?

We need to open the wallet a bit to survive in the Championship - Barnsley spent a bit of cash and are bottom.

Championship - How do we stay up?

We’ve put ourselves in a marvellous position, and we should see this through. But, we’ve still got a lot of football to play and we need to avoid a wobble like Rotherham. There’ll be a lot of work to do if we get promoted. Recruitment depends on a few factors, namely where we’re playing next...

    Away record

Agreed! To contrast ourselves with Ipswich, we’ve been lucky with injuries. We’ve got good depth in our squad, but I’m concerned if Gooden gets injured again. By far our best striker.

    Away record

Exactly, and we were within a whisker of beating P’boro, Oxford and Sunderland away too. The key thing for us was to address our away form and since the Wycombe game, our form was exploded. Only dropping points to Fleetwood who have been in great form themselves. Our advantage going into this...

    Away record

Agreed on the Ipswich away win in the cup! Whilst we definitely had a couple games we should’ve won away before Wycombe. I don’t think our away form was as bad as the table shows when you factor in away draws at Sunderland, Oxford, Peterborough and Portsmouth. 3 of those we were unlucky not to win!

Will Grigg’s is dire, no defence is terrified... I do miss the anthem from 2016 though - brings back the memories of when I went to the Euros!

They are boom or bust, and they’re massively outspending everyone in the league. 46,039 highest home attendance last season, 32-33k average. 30k average this season. Has anyone else spent this much money to get out of League 1?

A part of me wants them to get promoted so we can go again in the Championship. The other part wants me to see them implode with another season in League 1.

1 goal in 19 games. £3-4 million wasted.

Entitlement is spot on. By far the financial powerhouse of this league, spaffed millions on players, nicked Willis, tried to nick Robins and fabricated a rivalry with us. Glad we beat them, glad Gillingham equalised at the death to widen our lead at the top of the table. No mention that they...

‘Their shithousery caused the extra injury time, and they use it to score. No justice.’ Is my favourite. Always the victim, it’s never their fault.

That was Nolan for the header. He must have thought he was offside because that was a poor attempt.
