    Protest Tuesday

Maybe, although it has been claimed that the council are rushing this through and selling it on the cheap!

    sisu on the ropes

I'd imagine it will be about three weeks :D SISU should get a line of t-shirts in the club shop with 3 weeks, turkeys and eagles and all the other bollocks on them. Would make a fortune!

should be ready just in time for us to move to the new ground!

    Protest Tuesday

Personally I think it's better not to have any fragmented groups. The best course of action would be to bring it up at the trust meeting and go from there. A united front is needed now and going forward and I think the trust, as a formal organisation with a constitution, are best placed to do that.

    Protest Tuesday

In what way? It feels like that to me as well but I can't work out who is doing the setting up or what is going on in the background. The only conclusions I can draw from the conversation you had with Joy about SISU not being interested in owning the Ricoh is one of: 1) They are incompetent at...

    sisu on the ropes

Even now if SISU were to present a credible plan for the long term security of the club I'd be prepared to full consideration and if it stood up to scrutiny would have my full support. Problem is we have no idea what is going on. They claim that moving to a new stadium will benefit us but won't...

    Protest Tuesday

Problem is unless we're going to try and register it as a community asset and buy it ourselves (as in the fans not SISU) what can we do? Our owners repeatedly say they are not interested in the Ricoh and are building a new ground. We can't force them to buy it.

    Les Reid Twitter

How have you come to that conclusion? The club currently has a 4 year agreement to play at the Ricoh which, as far as we know, will stand no matter who owns ACL. This is the length requested by the club as after that period we will be moving into our new stadium. Based on what SISU are telling...

    Protest Tuesday

I was up for it but now I don't think I'll be there, depending on what else comes out of course. What would we actually be protesting about? SISU have been clear that they aren't interested in bidding for the Ricoh and are building us our own ground. We have a contract in place until that point...

city still play at ricoh regardless of wasps takeover

Can't see this being an issue. Other teams groundshare so presumably the relevant leagues already have a protocol in place to deal with this. Presumably something as simple as one sorts their fixtures first and the non available dates are passed to the other league.

    sisu on the ropes

Isn't this train of thought how we ended up with SISU, on the basis that they were the only option. Despite the slightly dubious (in my opinion in case SISUs lawyers are reading), administration process there were several people interested, some of whom we still don't know the identity of. Look...

Paul Ince is he deluded or does he have a point?

That's it. To make any claims you'd have to look at the pool of available qualified employees and analyse who is applying for each job and if anyone from a minority is turned down is there anything to suggest it is anything other than they are not the best person for the job. If and when we...

    Getting fans back

I'm not saying its an exact match but it seems unlikely to me that the majority of those who went on the protest are the ones not turning up.

    Getting fans back

There was roughly the same number of people there yesterday as at the big protest so it would seem those people you are referring to have gone back. They aren't the problem and will most likely go no matter what. The ones who are more casual fans who only turn up occasionally are they ones they...

    Getting fans back

I lived in Ottawa for a year and the promotion for NHL games is relentless. Billboards, print ads, radio ads etc. All but the biggest games (which they know will sell out straight away) have some sort of special promotion. The players are expected to constantly be out in the community helping...

    Getting fans back

They way they do promotions like this is counter productive. The only people who will know about the promotion are those that already go and how many of them said lets not bother yesterday, we'll go to the cheap game in the week instead. If you're going to have a promotion then promote the...

    So Much for Ricoh Return

Not sure why this is a surprise to anyone. Before we left we were averaging under 11K. That was for our first season in L1 where a decent chunk of our support expected a promotion push. Everyone said when we buggered off to Northampton it would damage the fan base and it has. Yesterdays...

    Getting fans back

I'm similar, too many people on here think you are either a supporter or you're not but it doesn't like that. You don't stop being a supporter it just becomes less important to you, you stop going to so many games, a loss doesn't ruin your whole weekend etc. What do the club do locally to get...
