The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

I agree with A, however, we have perceived controls over non EU immigration ie can decide if we need the skills etc (I’m not sure we’ll ever control our borders though let’s be honest !!!). B is accurate(ish). There are certain controls that we chose not to enforce however realistically are/were...

    Can't sleep

As has been mentioned already try meditation (I tried mindfulness - there’s something called body scan which you can find online, if not PM me). Also CBD oil might be worth considering (obviously consider any risks, consult doc etc etc) Would avoid taking sleeping tablets regularly

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

I agree with this Mart. The transition period is more important than a lot of people think (for those wider considerations ie rolling over trade agreements, starting negotiations (but not signing) trade agreements etc. It also means we can hedge our bets a bit. If trade talks with US, Canada etc...

    Bayliss off?

Let’s hope the great sisu deliver something over the coming days otherwise it looks like they’ve fucked over the fans (get cheap players in and then sell chaplin and bayliss just before the season starts) I’m not sure what we’ve got for bayliss but it isn’t enough (I honestly believe after a...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

There was something similar discussed in the Malthouse compromise which was raised earlier in the year (inc extended transition) Look I’m not pointing the finger at the EU, they have negotiated how I would have expected, however, people on the remain side will always blame Mays ‘red lines’...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

I’m just highlighting the reality of the situation ie the WA cannot pass through parliament as it stands. As we all know, the government has tried three times !

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

I’m not sure from what Geoffrey Cox recently said that parliament can stop No Deal, certainly not without an election, however, even if that happens it might not stop Brexit. I’m saying this without wanting a No Deal (as I have said many times before) So, it comes back to whether the withdrawal...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Firstly, there wasn’t a parliamentary majority for a second referendum. Secondly, ignoring the ERG and the extreme Brexiteers (weirdos as I’ve said before !) I’d imagine most of the Leavers don’t want a No Deal. Thirdly, give the man a chance, Boris has not even had the opportunity to see if any...

Seriously though. He’s kind of damned if he does stuff and damned if he doesn’t. The inertia of the last 2-3 years hasn’t helped anyone

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Agree, I’ve been saying that for ages ! Ideological idiots ! Like the hardline remainers that will partly be the cause of No Deal if it happens. Crazy world !

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

But the withdrawal agreement has been rejected three times by parliament already ?!! The only realistic way I can see that we can budge is by having an election to try to change the make up of parliament

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Maybe Pete but the situation has got to be played out. The underlying fact is the EU have said the withdrawal agreement cannot be reopened, yet we/they know it cannot get through parliament ?! Boris believes rightly or wrongly it can get through with changes ie removal (replacement !) of...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Bizarrely they also couldn’t give a fuck about their own party (over 50% would rather see their party destroyed than stay in the EU !!!). Let’s be honest it’s a small poll on a small proportion of leavers who are probably pretty fucked off that after three years we are still stuck in the EU...

What is going on with the Tory leadership contest?

He’ll have to in an election though Clint. It’s a bizarre time in politics. If labour had backed Mays deal then Lib Dem’s and Brexit Party wouldn’t be picking up Labour voters from both sides of the argument. The withdrawal agreement pretty much gave labour everything they wanted apart from a...

What is going on with the Tory leadership contest?

When were tax cuts for the rich dished out ? (Not me being awkward but I wasn’t aware there had been any recently). If Boris goes ahead with his suggested cuts for higher earners (I wouldn’t say £50k-80k is necessarily rich, especially if they live in London) as a priority then I’d be...
