    Local elections

Looks like both major parties are taking a hammering ! Good ! The Tories have been useless and Corbyns a chancer. They’ve both been a disgrace lately. I feel sorry for the local councillors of the big two parties, a lot of whom are hard working and don’t deserve to be connected to the pathetic...

48 hours away from expulsion / New Ricoh Talks!

    Totally....said this a while back.

    Bayliss

He’s struggled a bit in a midfield two this season but he’s still learning so who knows. When he’s at his best, Bayliss is great at driving forward with the ball/got good vision so hope he can. If Bright stays (would be great but still a long shot) then it will be hard for Bayliss to get in...

    Bayliss

Played in very different roles this season (even though both are probably best just behind the forwards). Also not saying that Bright hasn’t been better this season, agree, his stats will prove that, just think Bayliss will kick on and if he does could become a better all round player

    Bayliss

Bright and Bayliss are quite different players who play in the same position. Mught go against a lot on here, however, I personally think Bayliss, if he kicks on, could still end up the better all round player. He could learn from Bright taking the game by the scruff of the neck though...

    Sterling

Just looks leggy after first full season. Not a surprise really, played pretty much every game.

    Willis

Spot on. I always think Hyam or Davies look a lot better with Willis alongside them. Ps That’s not to say they haven’t done pretty well as a pairing over the last few weeks just Willis pace can sometimes be a get out of jail

    Willis

Bit of that and a bit of trying to give the team impetus by shaking things up. Either way, didn’t work out too well !

    Today’s games

Haha. Yeah, let’s all give the players jazz hands tomorrow as I heard clapping causes some of the lads to get anxious

    Today’s games

It’s been a massive long shot for weeks but really thought it was on the cards earlier this afternoon. Hope the lads get a decent reception tomorrow. They deserve it

48 hours away from expulsion / New Ricoh Talks!

Would prefer longer than a year. Our continued tenancy at the Ricoh is unlikely to make or break Wasps financially and I don't want to be going through this shit every year. Hope they can agree/sort something with the pitch though as it hampered us this year (although looked a lot better...

    Very good Guardian article

Looking back no, it wasn’t. Different circumstances though. Wasn’t that before administration, Northampton, SISU saying they were going to build their own ground etc etc ?

    Very good Guardian article

I was making the point that I didn’t think sisu wouldve done the same deal Wasps for the whole stadium To be fair, I was referring back to our previous opportunity/‘attempt’ to buy the 50% share (pre wasps) when I was talking about Gilbert’s book. My mistake

    Very good Guardian article

Think it’s also in Gilbert’s book (I know it’s had its knockers but parts are still an interesting read, as much for the timing of the various events) From memory SISU also tried to buy the bank debt for a knock down (distressed) price around that time so I don’t think they would’ve delivered a...

    Very good Guardian article

Agree but throughout this there has been reactions to others actions. Comical to think SISU would have paid anywhere near what Wasps did when they were only willing to offer a conditional £2m for Higgs share (appreciate lease got extended since but buying 50% of ACL would’ve put us in a great...

    Stockdale/Burge

Agreed. Thought he looked like a different keeper up this season (more assured) until Walsall away (or at least that’s the game that sticks in my mind), then the stuff about not signing a contract, negative fan reaction, few mistakes and back to square one. Shame as he’s a great shot stopper...
