Err ... actually he is a Labour councillor

I agree with you on this. There does need to be protection built in to any sale of the Ricoh that prevents any new owners from selling on the stadium and associated revenues and leaving CCFC as just tenants again.

Don't disagree with you, just waiting for the Council to say they are prepared to sell to responsible investors AT A REASONABLE PRICE. From Councillor Kevin Maton's comments it sounds as though he for one doesn't want to see the Council sell to ANY investors full stop.

No one posting on this thread has suggested that the Council simply hands over its share of the Ricoh, however if the Council is not prepared to sell without making the massive profit it seems to be after, then CCFC has no future.

The trouble is that to get rid of SISU we need to attract new investors, and the Council stance of clinging on to 50% of the Ricoh will put off investors, so I don't think it will be possible to get rid of SISU first and then deal with the other problems.

My gut feeling is this shite week is just gonna be worse by 5.00 p.m.

A Fresh start without SISU and ACL

SISU are shite as owners, but I have absolutely no respect for the Council's stance of insisting on keeping its grubby hands on its 50% of the stadium (a stance it took long before SISU were involved) unless selling for a massive profit.

    Mark Robins

Why would he wish he had waited for the Leeds job to come up in the summer? He will just jump ship from Huddersfield if he fancies that or any other job.
  12. CCFC_GT

Official - we are in administration already

Just to clarify ... Guilfoyle is the administrator that ACL wanted to appoint

Thanks for your honesty, integrity and openness in sharing information with this forum as far as you are able, and for correcting misinformation from other quarters. I agree with the points you make here. However on the question of whether CCFC need to be part or wholly owners of the Ricoh, I...

That's not what the OP said ...

What i want to know to be able to pick my side

The side all city fans should pick is CCFC, not SISU or ACL because in different ways they have both contributed to bringing us to this situation. Anyone who thinks the blame is all on one side or the other has their head in the sand, and I really couldn't give a toss about who is most to...

No more games at the Ricoh

Err ... actually no there isn't
  17. CCFC_GT

New Leeds owners looking to sell already...

I heard it reported on Radio 5 this afternoon that Leeds owners were just looking to sell a minority stake which confirms the report that Ginetta heard at around the same time.

    4th in the form table

Shame we have to play the top two at home ... wonder if they would agree to play at theirs
  19. CCFC_GT

    would you rather?

I haven't voted either. Understandably the poll questions have to be fairly simplistic, but this is complex situation and to vote either way carries lots of assumptions. Not sure we can even get to the end of the season and a chance of promotion if SISU are serious about liquidating the club...
