    Piss Up In a Brewery!!!

Not from me you don't because I don't have any time for SISU either. However we seem to get the same old rants about SISU from the same posters any time anyone raises the slightest criticism of ACL (and that is usually criticism aimed at the Council influence within ACL) Just because I and...

    Piss Up In a Brewery!!!

The council (50% ACL) has absolutely nothing to answer for. Everything it has done has been with the best interests of CCFC at heart. Not.

Yes there IS something to stop CCC selling their 50% share to a more trustworthy owner in future ... THE COUNCIL ... in the words of Mutton "if a FANTASTIC OFFER came in" for the Council's shares, the full council COULD vote on a change of policy. SO IT SEEMS A SENSIBLE REALISTIC MARKET OFFER...

Ashbyjan or anyone from the Sky Blue Trust....

Original post by Grendel:- He means that the council will refuse anyone the ability to own the ground or gain maximum revenue from it - a view that worryingly many of our fans support. Well actually Cllr Maton seems to be inclined that way ... [COLOR=#3e3e3e]

Are we the worst team to support in England?

If success is measured by win % relative to the population size of a single-club town or city, then we are indisputably the least successful of any club in a city of comparable size and expectation. This season, despite being royally bum-fucked by SISU/ACL/CCC, it still feels like our most...

thoughts on any possible stadium deal

Not sure about that ... might be wrong but haven't WBA yo-yo'd up and down between Championship and Prem in the past simply because their Board refused to spend money they didn't have on players wages in the Prem, and just steadily built up their stability

Yes the keywords are responsible ownership, and I see few on here associating that with SISU, least of all me. I absolutely disagree that match day revenues are sufficient for CCFC, and we seem to be on a different page on this because you talk about survival while I talk about progression...

I haven't noticed anyone on here lately suggesting that the club should get the stadium or access to revenue and profits for free, but I do see a growing number that believe the club needs access to all the revenue and profit the Arena can generate, way beyond F&B (and I would suggest more than...

    Councillor Kevin Maton

The fundamental problem here is not that CCFC wages are too high, though yes wages could be spent more effectively (in some cases) by employing players that actually earn what they are being paid, and the answer is not to pay players less because generally you get what you pay for and that is...

    Stuart Linnell should be sacked

Not defending SISU but on a point of clarity SISU wanted access to revenues beyond just F&B, to include also such things as parking, advertising, and stadium sponsorship, all of which the football club arguably adds value to.

    Stuart Linnell should be sacked

I agree with your attitude towards SISU to a point, as it has mismanaged the club, has contributed in large part to the sorry state we are now in, its dealings with ACL have been poor, and its communication with the fans is abysmal. However I don't understand why your predominant attitude...

If our ambition is just to survive at this level like Walsall and remain as tenants at the Ricoh then we might as well all give up now.
