I'm surprised MR is resting as many players as he is but with 4 games in 10 games it's understandable. The fact that we can still put out a decent team shows that we now have strength in depth in most positions for the first time in years.

The three match ban for Kitching seems harsh, given his fairly mild retaliation. I wouldn't have had a problem if they had upheld the red card but reduced the ban to one match.
Based on on our recent performances opposing teams will have to be alert to the goal threat posed by our attacking midfielders, especially O'Hare, Sakamoto and Palmer. I'm hoping this will free up space for Wright, Simms and Godden.
I agree that Palmer is a skilful player who brings something a bit different to the team. There may be an issue about his stamina but I would still rather have him than not.
I'm beginning to wonder if the silver lining in the black cloud created by Hamer's departure is that Calum O'Hare has been given more attacking freedom.
So far Haji Wright is averaging 0.43 goals for every 90 minutes he has spent on the pitch, which is a perfectly respectable return.
To put it into context it's better than Connor Chaplin and Joël Piroe.
He's been taken off on a stretcher, which is reasonably encouraging.
If it had been anything like a heart attack they would have taken an ambulance on to the pitch and put him in the back. Better equipment in there to work on a patient on the way to hospital.
I hope he's OK 🤞
I think he has come to keep a clean sheet, being prepared to settle for 0-0 but hoping to snatch one on the break. It's a difficult match and I don't think that is an unreasonable approach
