I feel pretty much the same. Happy to see Saka and Wright starting but I would have preferred to see Lati in the defensive role protecting Saka.

I think that's about as good as it gets, given our extensive injury list. I like the thought of starting with Tats and Simms/Wright up front. Tats needs to get forward as much as he can, with Lats covering his tracks defensively. That lineup carries an attacking threat if they get the service.

    Transfer Rumour Haji Wright

Sadly quite a few have, both on this and other threads. We need to give him our support and build his confidence if he is to perform at the level I believe he is capable of.

    Midfield crisis

My chiropractor is arranging for me to have an MRI scan done privately for £271.

    Transfer Rumour Haji Wright

Many thanks for your post, which I find both informative and encouraging. I have seen enough of Haji Wright, both in his appearances for the Sky Blues and clips of him on YouTube, to see that he has some talent. His header against Blackburn was a cracker. He jumped high, got his head over the...

If we hadn't conceded that very late goal against Huddersfield we would be sixth, ahead of Leeds on goals scored. There is a long way to go this season. Personally I don't think we will make the play-offs but if the team can start to gel, Simms and Wright begin to show some more of their...

Haji Wright can certainly climb and it was a lovely well-placed header. I can see him being a threat from corners and MVE's long throws.

Video Haji Wright scores winning goal for Coventry City against Blackburn Rovers! 💥 #pusb

The more I see that the more I think it was a really nice goal. Haji was first to react and he headed it downwards in the bottom corner. You often see those go over the bar or straight at the goalkeeper.

As it stands in the live table we are only two points off fifth place.

Time to bring Wright on for Godden? I would also like to see Saka on, although I'm not sure who for without weakening us defensively. Ayari?

Blackburn have been the better team for the last 20 minutes. :(

Everybody could run faster than Micky Quinn 😊 He had an eye for goal though and good body strength. I liked him.

True but he was out injured a lot of the time. Whatever his shortcomings Godden does have a good eye for goal. I remember when Micky Quinn was our hero but he wasn't noted for his workrate or for providing assists :D

    Ellis Simms Going Forward

I definitely wouldn't try it in a high pressure important match. This is what I said: Of course you would try it in training first.

    Ellis Simms Going Forward

Because it's an idea that IF it works could be good for the team. It might work or it might be a complete disaster. How do we know without trying it?
