    Derby fans views on Keogh

He was a good tackler, which gained him fans and rightfully so. Doesn't mean we can't point out he could be positionally flawed and was guilty of the odd 'Hollywood' tackle at times. Seems a few Rams share a similar take.

    So, league favourites tomorrow night

These players are better than theirs and we someone who can make himself chances from nothing in Cody. The finishes were poor on Saturday but he has and will get goals. Never too early for a must win. They have lost some great players. All down to how we're setup I fear

Didn't know John Terry lived in Coventry

    Recognising other Members

I imagine I probably saw a lot of you at the game yesterday without knowing. Reading another thread, Astute's? son was noticable by a Motherwell shirt. Just got me thinking of a way people could recognise other members. Might be a stupid thought but, hey, at least if 2 members had an issue to...

    Adam Barton

The new lads + Clarke + Wood did well. Barton was ghosting past players second half so promising. Fleck looked good too tho gone early. Sheffers and particularly Hussey looked poor but may have been a bit of shock, their #5 was putting himself about a lot.

    AT speaks

Frankly Cranies passing it around cost us points last season so I've no problem with defenders clearing. As for the game; Fleck, Barton and Jennings looked class and Cody stole the ball of their last man twice in the last 5 mins so more goals will come. The game wasn't great by any stretch, but...

    People who doubt Andy Thorn...

Well I've been a season ticket holder for all of Thorns management career and have been to both games so far and the narrow formation exposes the very fullbacks that need to attack. Simply, in my opinion anyway, it just doesn't work.

    McSheffrey

Funnily enough I started a thread on Tuesday; same title same gist. Says all you need to know. Im no professional, never will be, but crossing is so easy if you practice even a little!

    The most deluded fans?

After reading the orignal posters comment I think it must go to Arsenal, followed closely by Liverpool. I can't add anything to Arsenal the original poster didn't say, but Liverpool are even further behind Arsenal in terms of quality - having no-one you would look at and think he could turn a...

    Elliott

Gotta say he added a bit of guile when he came on vs Daggers; made some good runs and got forward with the ball. Was overwhelmed at this signing but want to see a bit more of him on pitch

    More signings?

Wood was class on Tuesday and has been solid every year hes played for us. How Keogh and Crainie got CB over him I don't know. Him and Brown will be the difference this year - some solidity to help during the bad performances. I think he must stay in my eyes

    Clarke New Contract

Well he impressed end of last season and vs Daggers imo so any extension is fine by me

    Captain Kilbane

I was led to believe that Barton and Fleck will both be fine for Saturday. Maybe one will start on the bench

    Suddenly

We'll be ok. The fact is we got a 1-0 win when we played shite. When Man City do that commentators still drool over them. We couldn't do that last season. We also lacked our 2 creative midfielders last night and hopefully have Jennings on the way too. Kilbane will get better (I hope) and you...

Judging by last night: Clive Platt, but with movement and skill

    Date for Brum cup match

I didn't get one at first but they gave us 3 with our Daggers tickets. Yeah it's 29th.

    Worried

I must admit I was a bit worried last night and Sheffers did annoy me (hence the initially angry post) The narrowness of the formation is still a concern but having Fleck and Barton will hopefully help. I'm going to reserve judgement until 10 games in. That said if we win every game 1-0 I'll...

It is the funniest thing I've read today. Not 100% factual but I will but chanting this in my head for the entire game...

Player ratings VS Dagenham and Redbridge

I'd up Kilbane to a 4 as he did get in a few tackles other than that hard to argue with that. We were horribly narrow but hopefully having Fleck and Barton can address some issues - certainly might give Cody more chances.
