I'll say from my experience of playing 11-a-side that having a vocal keeper is a must. He also made a stunning 1 on 1 save on Sunday and can't see either Burge or Dunn being near him for the near future. That said, I do agree he needs to push shots out to the side rather than forward. Then...

I'll admit I'm not 100% sure. It might be that good players don't always seem to make the best managers. It could be that, to me at least, he'd end up being 'one of the lads'. I've always liked managers who are older than their players - people seem to look up to them more and they aren't soft...

I wouldn't write the whole season off quite yet - how many teams have started badly then snuck their way up the table and won the playoffs. We're not on a great run and the last 2 games have been shite, but there are players like Barton, Jennings etc with quality we need. Say what you want about...
