    Barton

A luxary player, perhaps, but one worth sticking with. Most teams that do well have a few grafters and a class player or 2 who can create things out of nothing. Personally I think Barton can be that player but that does mean bearing with him while he re-adjusts. I hope he comes good anyway.

    So...Who will go next?

I agree with most of the suggestions. Hussey's an odd one for me. I think he does have the ability but the fans, coupled with a couple of bad games, have destroyed his confidence - therefore I would off load him but not soley on the grounds of ability. I was so happy we got Kilbane but he's been...

    Barton

I think people forget he has only just returned from a near career ending injury. He shows glimpses of what he can do - but I imagine that must play with your mind a bit.

    robins

That error aside, it looks good. Robins wasn't my first choice (my first choice wasn't on the shortlist) but everything he's said so far has impressed me and he's trying to get them playing smarter football further up the pitch (as opposed to Thorn where the football was lovely in our own half...

    Bournemouth sack manager!

It's on the BBC this morning that their chairman has ruled out Redknapp: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19817214

Robins: Fleck is a class act

The comment about Cody surprises me I admit. Still, at least he has a clear plan to work on it and acknowledges the ability. More good comments from Robins. As for Fleck, easily my favourite player - just gotta see him at his best now!

    Ricoh must feel "more ours"

Well Carlisle wasn't great but we started to play a nicer style of football at Arsenal then won on Saturday. To me that's a steady improvement. Next job is to combine nice football with a win. After reading his comments I'm feeling quietly confident. Would also help if the Dons fancied getting...

    Hussey off??

I think some of Hussey's negative attitude (if this is indeed what's going on) then some of the blame lies with us. He is needlessly boo'd if he attacks and loses the ball, then boo'd if he doesn't attack. However whatever the reason, if the attitude is causing a problem then he's gotta go!

    4 - 2 - 3 - 1 Formation Robins should try

I'm gonna be mocked for this - but that's the formation I use... And as fo Hussey - his style is basically a league 1 version of Gareth Bale - he'snot bad at going forward, but suspect defensively at times. The new loanees have looked good so far, so I don't see why you'd drop them. The OP isn't...

Full match video from Arsenal v Coventry City 26/09/12

I have 1 or 2 videos of a corner ad free kick as I was right near the corner flag, so I'll post them too. Not long vids but good quality and you can hear our fans

lost 6-1 but positives to take from game such as....

He's not won a header in any league game I've watched - that's not something you need gametime for imo. Anyway, he's got his first now in some style so lets hope he pushes on.

lost 6-1 but positives to take from game such as....

Agree with virtually all said there. The comment about Ball I'm still a bit unsure of though; it was a great finish and sparkling cross by Baker, but Ball has done little else this season so I feel the criticism so far has been valid (that said, never like boo'ing). Overall the players can be...

    Fans at Arsenal

I thought were a credit to our club tonight. Didn't stop cheering the team on even after the 6th and properly celebrated our goal. The players seemed to appreciate it too. Well done tonight lads, thought our fans did us proud and the players were no where nearas bad as 6-1 suggests, Arsenal were...

    This beating will be harmful

I don't think it is, the players seemed more appreciative of the fans than say Shrewsbury for example. We played well on the attack and took game to Arsenal. We created good chances, but our style cost posession and Arsenal were deadly on counter - exploited lack of pace still but I still saw an...

Always liked Borrowdale - but was nothing if not injury prone. Sadly we can't really afford that sort of player

    The Cons of Loan Signings

We've got Brown and Ball who, frankly have both been let downs so far. So leave them out the team and give the new ones a go.

    Mark Robins Interview after training

Disgraceful that he sees our players as unwilling to put in a shift. I only play 5-a-side but if 1 player doesn't give his all, we lose, simple as that!
  20. Sky Blue Sheepy

    Fans.....

Well judging by the comments about players not putting in a shift, I think that vindicates a lot of ineptitude by our management and players to be frankly honest. Our views aren't clouded by which players are chummy with the manager for example.
