    Jacob Murphy

i see the Cov boo boys were right about Murphy. Only scored 2 tonight in the first eleven minutes .....

    Gary Hoffman

Hoffman had all the finance lined up but SISU refused to even meet with him due mainly to a personality clash.

    SISU / Anderson

So which one called the Transfer market wrong. The fact that Transfer fees were likely to rocket this summer in the back of record breaking TV revenues was well understood. Yet we sold our best asset ( Maddison) just before the boom. The fee now looks crazily under valued. If the reality is...

    Incoming

I still believe they will bring a striker in tonight and an out of contract centre half next week.

    Adam Armstrong

Rafa would be mad to allow Arma to join a team who could easily finish in the championship play offs this season.

    Aaron Phillips and Aaron Martin

Both poor players and Mogga was right to roll the dice.

Players you could've suggested to CCFC

I wrote to Ray Ranson recommending the following who were fringe players at Leicester at the time and unwanted by Ghe club. Max Gradel and Jeff Schlupp. Ray wrote back and thanked me for the tip off. I also recommended a right back from Carlisle ( Potts ) to Steve Waggot.

    Agyei

Mowbray wants one more striker. I'm hoping it's a striker who poses a physical and ariel threat. Agyei, Sordell, K Thomas, would all benefit from an alternative type player to feed off.

    Juggy.

I don't blame Juggy for his growing ego. It's also not the BBC's fault they keep putting him on, it's a sign of how few calls they receive. Personally I think he shows no more than moderate insight into matches.

    Jordan Turnbull

2 years of regular Lg1 football has to be a good thing. Not the tallest but a good pedigree. I'd still like to think that we go back in for the Bournemouth centre half if he's fit.

    Gabby

From the totally unreliable football rumours website ..., 2016 18:15:23 Gabriel Agbonlahor set to join Coventry city in the next few days after terminating his contract with Aston Villa by mutual consent. Gabi apparently approached The Sky Blues boss Tony Mowbary after a lengthy chat with former...

What is it with some Cov fans ..

Jacob Murphy a villain according to certain fans, and Maddison a hero. Murphy made a real contribution last year and Maddison flattered to deceive and jumped ship at the first opportunity. Murphy starts, scores and sets one up yesterday for Norwich. Maddison doesn't make the squad. I guess...

    Andy Rose

I think this is a non football decision on his part. No point suggesting it reflects our football plight. Huge red herring. Unsettled family, unlikely to get in first team when it's fully recruited, matchable wages .... Not surprising he's checking out his options. In this social media age...

    Friday transfer thread

Posh' chairman is not everyone's cup of tea but he has a clear business model. He won't play loan strikers because developing successful strikers that you can sell is where the transfer money is greatest. He sells top talent and reinvests a proportion of the income into fees for the next...

    More Quality on the Way

I'm sure it was Mogga's preference to bring players in early but he has not been able to and he is clearly frustrated by that. However he is right to still be very selective over who he brings in, particularly given that change in the loan rule. It was proven last year that you can still get...

    Kelvin Wilson

Yes not clear how he is less of a risk than Reda really.
