I don't or if it is it won't be for the want of trying. We tried hard to get Charlie Hughes and were prepared to splash what, for us, was a lot of cash.

Both good bits of business, as was getting Brau for nothing and making a profit on Binks. Like most of us I would like to see us doing more deals (in and out) before the window closes but I'm happy with what we have done so far. He won't get everything right but I reckon DK is pretty astute.

I wanted a draw against a team that would test us but with a decent chance of victory. I guess Millwall are one of those teams, although it's not a very attractive fixture. I would have been happier if we had drawn them at home.

If we can I would loan him out for a season - not with an option for the other club to buy him - and see how he develops. I think with the right coaching and mentoring he could turn out to be a good player.

Haji wasn’t getting in the right positions. I was encouraged by Simms in terms of his general play and effort. His finishing obviously needs to be sharper but it’s his first competitive match for months.
