    quiet on here

Didn't go today and fair play to their fella if so, but it didn't sound as though Armstrong was given anything to feed off (listened on the radio, so maybe not so?)

Yes - I think the bigger/better the pitch, the more it will suit us. Little boggy pitches, we will have to 'find a way' as the cliche goes. Everything crossed that Madders isn't out for long (if at all) and that TM has a player lined up to strengthen/plan B to deal with it.

Yep - win against Sarfend and it's still a fantastic start to the season. Congrats to Callum W (well done lad). Fingers crossed re: Maddison, and hopefully a player or two to strengthen us.

After every swig of Kronenbourg, Clive's pronouncing of Vincelot is sounding more and more like Lancelot. Can't say I'm enjoying not being at the game, I feel like an expectant father - happily take a draw at the moment (unless we're attacking!)

    Latest odds

I actually think this side could cope better with Reda's absence than last season (provided Ricketts stays fit). If and when Armstrong does disappear during the season, then we will have at least one body in to replace him, Murphy can play down the middle, and we will be able to attract better...

    What's your gripe?

The chances of some kid's futures around our City, when I see/hear the example being set by their parent/parents - whether that being the sausage roll/cheese puffs hanging out of their pushchair, the language being used around them, the shouting at them (instead of talking to them) or the reek...

    Chris Stokes

We've got a bit of a strange balance for the team, in that we've got a fairly big back four with a lot of physical presence but the other 6 outfield players are small and probably weigh less than the back four in total (actually less than Reda !!) Works, though !!!

    Chris Stokes

Yep I think he may have the odd struggle against a nippy sort, but he is starting to look a solid player who is making positive strides (literally as well) forward - one of Grendel's better calls ;)
