Sorry mate - wasn't ridiculing. Just picked 2 players who look solid, but haven't shown creativity yet {IMHO). CT won't, although has good physical presence. Jack Finch looks a similar sort to CT in my opinion, though he is young and may have more strings to his bow than I have yet seen...

What about the gaggle of Walsall players - Bradshaw, Lalkovic, Mantom, Sawyers. If Bury can sign Pope, Leon Clarke etc with a crowd of 4,000 on a good day, we ought to be able to compete in this league. We should be able to hold a team together for more than a month after the start of the season...

He looks interesting. Although Maltese football isn't all that, on the Youtube clips, he seems to score a lot with his left foot, but took a pen with his right. Also seems useful in the air (in terms of finishing). TM knows him from WBA as well. Also - cheap as chips I would have thought.

I only see £9m as a 'sensible' move if a) you've already got a decent chance of promotion to the PL (I think Burnley have) and/or the re-sale value is likely to hold up (good young striker - probably). Still think CW will move for a big figure (over £10M within 12 months)

I'll only agree with 'more often'' if his supply is cut off. In the 2 home games alone, he's looked a class above this league, and I don't think many defences will consistently subdue him. ) Also, you don't rate CW at premiership level, so.............;)
