Couldn't work out who I wanted us to get in the Cup (draw tomorrow?) but hoping for either a) a fun away day that will hold a big away following or b) Barnet away (just for you mate!)
CJ - my brother's a season ticket holder there - but what were you doing there? Do you get withdrawal symptoms if you go more than 24hrs without a game? (actually mate, I'm just jealous!)
Beardsley, Le Tissier, Adam (yet if/when he goes. people will still say - he's only worth £2M, as he hasn't done it a high level:facepalm:- anyway, that's for another day/thread )
According to Houchen's Head, I've heard we are trying to get a Joel Coe in on loan. Maybe nothing.... only saying what I've heard from Houch - he won't stop going on about it;)
Forgot that one. That's why it's so damned important to get up there and be part of it at the moment, -n ot just for the last handful of games. It's the journey that gives you the enjoyment, not just the final destination.
Even though he's not playing tomorrow, I think this will put a few extra bums on seats. People talking in the pubs (my phone's been receiving txts every few minutes from mates) will create a buzz. I think this loan could pay for itself through the attendances and will increase the feelgood...
Did not see that coming. Does this mean that the Eagles that was landing will now take off again?!?
Seriously - how cool for some of our youngsters having him about. Always liked the way he came across in interviews.
Yep - City played really well (Marsden was outstanding). Weren't we singing 'sign him up?' - was he on loan?? A game I remember as a 1-1 hammering of the opposition !!
Given 2 free tickets but didn't go, in case I'd fancied a pie, and couldn't remember what my stance was supposed to be on 'pie money' and who was getting it :D
Maybe - although it doesn't take a genius to realise that it was a tipping point for some and we will have lost quite a few who will have had the habit broken (meeting mates, changed seats , new habits etc)
