To be fair, Glasgowfan, everybody knows it's an I in English, not an 'aye'. People in glass houses....

Looking forward to the game. Rovers fans will be all shouty, and I think our crowd will be up for the banter on the back of a win, especially if the team 'turn up'. Don't want to have the last game before Wembley a flat performance.

    Chiltern Trains to Wembley

Chiltern offers Checkatrade Trophy travel tips Sorry if I'm being a bit lazy / thick, but if Chiltern trains are laying on these trains for City fans, the normal line calls at Oxford on the way IIRC. Are they skipping the Oxford stops, or is it going to get a bit messy on the way down/back?

Well if Robbins thinks the others are unfit, he must be saying Yakubu will be ready about June. Tudgay rolled his ankle, Beavon ok (just knackered from amount of games without having previously played. Kwame - just chilling (actually, don;t know about him!)

My favourite L1 fans (along with Swindon) not. Lowest crowd of the season will witness a 1-1 draw, or a sneaky 2-1 win (could be either way!) Agree with getting the Wembley team on the pitch for a couple of games, to try and develop a semblance of tactics/understanding.

    The right DNA

I'll settle for that as starters. The difficulty may be attracting players to come if there is ongoing uncertainty as to our future / do we have a 'home' after next season / ongoing negative headlines etc etc. Fingers crossed we can get our act together as a club. Like a few on here I will...

Agreed -has lasted long in my memory - a keeper getting chaired off IIRC, having let in 4 goals!!

    Any Wembley Tickets Yet ?

My 6 arrived today together with some for a bloke called O'tis wrong address (bad Irish joke for St Paddy's day)

Compilation of shocking CCFC stats 2016/17

Good job I did as it has hardened me as a City fan (but not sure if that is a good or bad thing!)

    depressed

Well done Weeman; hope all goes well for you = it's really exciting when you move to a new home (especially your first). The only bit I don't like (especially as I'm really not a DIY sort) is when you think you are settled/sorted, and your other half adds the next job, purchase (ours are new...

    depressed

Not depressed - but feel guilty I talked my mate into getting a ticket (and he's still thinking of getting one with me, even after the Southend game!). Lucky that i've got a few positive things going on in my life, so have managed to tuck City away in a corner of my mind where it can;t affect...

Beavon looked like he got a kick or two in that game. Rest him if he has a knock. Want him fit for you know when.

    Half Time versus Bradford

Just an observation from yesterday. When the ref blew for half time, having competed fairly well against Bradford, our fans (in general) gave a really good reception to the performance. Lots of applause around my area. It just shows that provided we see an effort and application we don't (now)...

Jodie Jones fixing his hair at Bradford free kick...

Let's stop the player bashing - he's a kid. If we want to aim criticism at him I get more annoyed at him dodging 50/50 tackles - but then again, so did I (now and again) when I played (Sunday league stuff!!). He's still young, growing and has time to be developed. If he doesn't cut it fair...

    £10 a ticket!

Season ticket holders have had (rightly) first dibs on Wembley tickets , and speaking as one, I couldn't give two figs if they cut the prices for attendances on the run in (in terms of getting extra fans in); however, I'm not that convinced it would really affect the numbers and can't see the...

    Steve Taylor is Robin's Assistant

That's scarily threadbare. Underlines why Robbins needs to do his work early on to work out what/who he wants for next season.

Exclusive - mark Robins to be named

Enjoyed our football under Robbins - we had some good players at the time, so not sure how much credit he deserves; but if he is coming, it'll be forgive and forget (if he succeeds - if he doesn't, a lot won't forget!)
