Are you questioning RS, Nick ? (treason)

    Goalachio - Slade's a tactical genius.

Assume the Bigi omission relates to the 'contract' situation that was referred to on here. We need to look at how to attack. Like most have said on here, Slade appears to have dispensed with midfield as a concept (I excuse Reilly from that)

Now referred to Bury fans as 'Bolton fans'. He's just plain odd.

Clive (?) just said - 'he're comes Jacob Murphy' ?!?!

Slade needs to bring on a few more defenders to shore things up o_O. Keep it below 4 and it'll be seen as a result. Square pegs in round holes. Really hope I have to eat my words later!

Free kicks by Turnbull and Rawson early on. Not a very promising start!?

Hoping Jo Murphy, Leon Barnett and their 16 year old holding midfielder will take pity on us (if a 16 year old kid on a wet rainy night in Bury can rip us to shreds, then we do need our ars*s kicking)

Correct - a step closer to my true identity (not Harry Hill !)

Players That You Would Keep, Or Get Rid Of: Post Relegation

Maybe the way we have to go; but a whole season for the kids in L2 may be a bit much - especially on the winter bogs, midweek away from home. That said, I'd prefer an early mid twenties up and coming/late developer conference player than a 35 year old end of career player (unless it's Ibrahimovic)

Glad to see you're in rude health, Houch (how's it looking on the Wembley ticke front?)

Need 6 points from next 2 games, so - he has to pick a side capable of attacking. See they signed Caddis (ex-Blues) yesterday(?) and have Joe Murphy in goal :punch:

    When Relegation is Confirmed

This is a real shame. I will buy one. Not sure I can explain why. A mixture of stubbornness and stupidity. Will build my hopes up pre-season and look forward to Cheltenham away, top half finish (titter ye not) and an EFL quarter final place ( we can still dream)

    Slade Rumour

Oggy should still be between the sticks whilst we are paying him wages!
  15. Sky Blue Harry H

Hung by his own words !

These were his words. Basically - the potential is there within the players, but they are inconsistent (or you could argue they are consistent in underperforming). The trouble with most of our players is that you can see a bit of something in them, yet they do not turn up often enough. I would...

    Yakubu

I wouldn't give CJ stick - it highlights incompetence in areas that need examining: organisation from the bench, recruitment policy, level of medical support/advice, and yes, possibly an individual player's attitude.(be it on the pitch, or professionalism off it)
  17. Sky Blue Harry H

    Yakubu

We all hoped (post Akinfenwa) that Yak might be a big lump who we could feed off (even if he couldn't run a lot) ; however it is fairly clear that he is unfit(forgetting hamstring). Agree that lack of warm ups suggests our bench are not really 'organised' and I think we can safely write him off...

    Compared to 50 years ago.

The same year my dad started taking me along. He was a Wolves fan (form team of the 1950s!) but took me to dozens of City games and I was (and am) a Sky Blue forever as a result. He often reminded me in the old Div 1 (now Premier League) when we'd lost a game and I'd be a bit down - "You don't...

Match Thread Coventry v Swindon Match Thread - Saturday 25th Feb

One thought on today's game. we HAVE (shouty, I know) to stop playing the ball back towards our own goal when we are around the half way line and near the touchline. The combination of our centre backs being uncomfortable/incompetent on the ball and the bobbly pitch means it is a game of Russian...
