Bit worried about this game now. I'm not feeling ill and we've won the last 2 when I was. Otis, give me a slap if we are losing and that should turn things around for us. I'm the 6' 5"" bloke with tattoos in Block 15 (honest!)

Disgusting sign of the times we live in.

Are you sure it wasn't the checkout assistants chained to the till?

I remember thrashing them 1-1 (seriously, it was a 1-1 thrashing when we had that bald midfielder who passed the life out of them) At Highfield Road, televised. Player must have been on loan, as we were all singing 'sign him up, sign him up' Can't be bothered to google his name. Who was it?

    32,000 sold already

Sometimes Hill means it and sometimes he's just tickling your fancy

Keep an eye on results tonight

No real damage done. Next 2 games massive for us (as will be the ones after that!), versus Swindon and Bury - minimum 4 points, ideally 6 !!

    Spare Wembley Tickets Thread

Really hope the posters on here can get hold of some ; don't want any City fans to miss out, and prefer City fans - even if somewhat lapsed - get hold of them above Man Utd etc day trippers

    SO.

If the club can't find a way to make a few quid (wherever it ends up) out of this day, then Tim Fisher really ought to get it with both barrels (from JoyS and from fans).

    Cowley Brothers

Lincoln ought to be a force next season in L2. They must be on the way to bagging a couple of million from cup ties (made up figure in my head!!), through TV coverage, prize money etc as well as having a solid fan base regarding season tickets (i.e. they are currently successful). Not sure why...

    Where...

Haven't got a doctor's note, but an absentee ST holder with a virus/manflu. My mate drove all the way from Cov to Warwick (collected my ST at 2.15 ) for his son, so that the seat didn't go spare. Ill twice, won twice (Wycombe & Gills) - 100% record! Am going to Wembley. so my fault if we lose!

14 games left, 8 Home and 6 Away

Agree 3 points versus that bunch of swaggering chavs (not that I dislike them) from Swindon is a must.

Match Thread Coventry v Gillingham Match Thread - Saturday 18th Feb

Hopefully if George Thomas is out, it's only short term, and Beavon should be back on Saturday (sounds like he could play with Kwame and Tudgay up front) Reilly seems to have become a key player over the last few games. Foley being played where he has, has surprised me. Ill today, so missed...

Slade and Beavon upfront ? He's made some strange selections, but if he picks himself, I'm calling for the men with white coats!

Cheers for that thought Otis. Knowing my luck (as a City fan) it would be typical of me to miss out on us actually winning games regularly!

Match Thread Coventry v Gillingham Match Thread - Saturday 18th Feb

Woke up, laid low by a heavy cold/virus that laid me low half way through the Wycombe game. Bad news - I'm going to miss the game (don't want Round 2 with St John's ambulance crew - and my mate won't be impressed if he misses part of a game again). Good news - we're now bound to win, as when I'm...

Jim Holton: 6ft 2 eyes of blue

Remember a game on the TV where Ian Wallace had fouled an opponent and the play er made a bee line for Wallace, as if to chin him. Before he got there, a long arm appeared from the side of the TV and stopped him in his tracks (a bit like a car park barrier). Camera them focuses on Big Jim...
