On this occassion, well said TF...long may it continue

Parade inappropriate, although the cynic in me thinks: a) it would need organising (how bad are CCFC at that - understandable with staffing levels) and b) it would cost CCFC money (staff time, coach hire, stewarding etc) ...so the cynic in me says it suits TF to say no anyway

    anyone else

Saw someone else post a favourable comparison with '87, and being a bit older now and realising where our club now is at, I enjoyed the day out every bit as much as 87 (and - maybe because it's so fresh in the memory - even a tad more). Not because of what the cup was - we all know '87 was much...

Fisher the nob, Robins the God

Hadn't heard TF's comments. Poor from him, if unsurprising. Oh, by the way RFC, suspect you may be in the minority on this one. You'd get a tad more credibility if you'd call him out when he does this sort of thing.

    Season Tickets

Don't know how these things work and who has the rights, but you would think the club could shift 20,000 plus copies of the Checkatrade final dvd - surely they could boost their budget for next season with that. Not being funny, but even if they charged a few quid extra per copy, I would have...

    Season Tickets

Surely you don't think many City fans still think like that Torchy? P.S. Hope you are getting along ok mate. On a totally different topic, I called in my local Tesco at Warwick this morning at and there was a bloke and son both decked out in City kits. (I go in that shop a lot and it''s a very...

Tricky re: team selection. Not sure whether I'd put in fresh players (e.g. DKE) or ask those who played Sunday to turn out again. Because I'd had a shandy (or two), I've not yet found out whether Reilly had a knock (not on the bench?), but if fit I might have wanted a bit of his grit against Mr...

    Highlights on now!

In that final melee in our box I hadn't got a scooby about what was happening, but I was convinced that it was going to end up in our net. Don't want to watch another replay of that moment otherwise it might next time! P.S. For all Bigi's critics - me too with his erratic passing - he was in the...

    What a day

Great day and thought the result was important in that it helped deepen/re-build the bond between the club/team/fans. Not many can have failed to have a great day and I kept thinking of all the younger fans who could hold their heads a bit higher about being part of the sky blue family. Even...

Can't wait for Hill's response to this! He must have watched it before he posted it, and still thought - yeah, sounds great?!?

    Is 'Not going to Wembley'....

I'm not going to miss this chance - to see Roy Wegerle, Leigh Jenkinson and co at Wembley - might never get the chance again (P.S. Does anyone know if they will they put a list of the players on the big screen, just in case the players' names escape anybody?):bucktooth:

Might as well give up if we can't do this for him.

    Team of Clones

11 Micky Quinns Three to fill the goal at the back (one of which could be the nominal keeper) Couple each at the back and same in the middle to hoof it forward That leaves 4 Micky Quinns up front (how could we not win every game?)

    Fucking Hell

The lunatics have taken over the asylum. Sometimes I wish we didn't have the internet and 24 hour news, then maybe some of these people with mental health issues wouldn't focus their anger like this

Hoisted on your own petard. By this logic, your opinion on the matter doesn't count....and Bigi's career isn't over (until he signs for Coventry United):woot:

Yes. Tuesdays at home if we're not doing/playing well will be a bit of a test of endurance, especially if there's only that type of away following creating little fractious banter.

This - I thought our fans were great today (suspect it's a combination of no tension, as we've all 'accepted' relegation, and still have a pre-Wembley glow) and that was the most upbeat/enjoyable atmosphere at a league game at the Ricoh for a long time. Gives us hope of a performance next week...
