Not specifically CAM I guess, but an attacking minded midfielder. I think the Bristol City game showed his usefulness when we’re a goal behind.

So who would be coming off the bench to replace Rudoni now as CAM? We are now light for a Sheaf replacement and a CAM for depth in midfield. If we bring in replacements then great otherwise top 6 is a push for me.

It’s a very small sample, but through the games this season it’s glaringly obvious we need another midfielder and I would have said this even before the football started. Would leave us horribly light and struggling for top 6 without further depth. Even worse with losing Palmer.

I also think it is weird to sell to a league rival.

In isolation, this is a weird sell for me. Good sub to bring on and we need as many midfielders as possible at the moment. Hoping two midfield intakes tomorrow (either buy or loan).

Presuming we don’t get another midfielder in, should he start playing much deeper (especially when Sheaf is injured). Seems our best on the ball and can connect defence with attack. I thought him as a more attacking player originally, but needs must if we can’t get someone else in.

A lot of talk about how we’re a possession team, yet you rarely see that away from home. We regularly go for the long ball option.

I think it is obvious to everyone that our midfield is a serious concern. I’m hoping that is evident to the management before the window closes. The depth is not top 6.

This is spot on. It’s a position prone to injury anyway, so we need more depth. I don’t mind the signing we have made, but to be competitive this season another midfielder feels a necessity.

I would say we need a 6 to come in before the window closes. It’s unsustainable for our midfield to hold up with the current numbers.

Thought I heard on a podcast that we had to. Guessing it was about making sure the cup gets some priority.

I thought we had to start at least four players who started the last match?

Really hated the pre-season attitude in that game. The season starts from game 1. That is three points lost that will have an effect at the end of the season. Really poor.

Has everybody seen this? I'm not usually one being sucked into the negativity on Twitter, but I had to rip into them for this one. Disrespectful doesn't cover it.

Probably worth mentioning that Ben Wilson looks a decent back up to Marosi. All in all a good run out. Improvements to be made, but there are promising signs.
