I think Doug has earned the right for some patience with the investment he has made. At the very least till the end of the season. My two caveats with this are the decision to not get a midfielder, which was clearly a massive and costly misjudgment. The second is we can’t use the argument that...

I’m annoying myself repeating this, but the depth in midfield is the problem. It was so obvious. A seriously big misstep from Doug King and a costly one.

I was always convinced he was the replacement for Robins when he leaves. Doesn’t seem likely now.

As always with these things, probably a bit of us being poor and them playing well. That said, I don’t think it’s a coincidence that Stoke, Bristol City and Norwich have looked good teams against us.

We have never really heard why Adi left. If it’s a Doug decision rather than Robins I would be worried. My hope is that Robins knows what he wants and we have to trust the process, but he might miss his right hand man more then he’ll realise.

So agree with this. It baffles me that there is no movement for them and any attempt to create space.

I would say my bigger worry is Doug King’s transfer policy and the supporting staff. Robins is really not where our focus should be.
