    Would You Still Go ?

yes and no. the rent was high but the original plan was always to offset it by the club buying back into ACL .

    Would You Still Go ?

simplified view. ACL had the option of paying CCC 1.9 million a year in rent or paying a lump sum of 21 million that the council could use to pay off the loan used to complete the Ricoh. the ACL 21 million was a loan to be paid off over a 20 year period hence the size of the original rental...

    Would You Still Go ?

The rent argument is a vicious circle. The original rent was set against the need to repay a fixed-term loan that had been taken out to build the stadium that the football club wanted. The council loan and its new terms combined with having a 2nd sports team using the stadium has allowed...

    Would You Still Go ?

Don't go so often anymore. Not directly to do with ownership, councils etc more that it isn't the same anymore. The "old gang" that started in the 70s has dwindled (mainly for the off-the-pitch issues) and it just isn't the same anymore. It just doesn't excite me the way it used to - football...

Trust Statement - SISU's New Legal Action

See useful communication between the club and SBT is possible and sometimes constructive - despite what certain people may say! Well done both sides.

    Telegraph's back page.

a fairly typical response from supporters. time has come to stop bashing and blaming all these other groups and just focus on the football club. i don't care what Wasps do. i don't blame the Telegraph for focusing on a positive sports story. people need to focus on the football club and...

    Why dont SISU ........

is it really that difficult to ballot season ticket holders to see if they would object to special discounts for kids? i think the majority would understand the reasoning and back trying to get more kids into the club. surely this is the sort of issue that the SCG was started up for in the...

    Questions

Please ask them - have you actually spoken to any other clubs that are sharing their facilities with a 2nd sports team e.g. Swansea, Hull,Wigan, Reading,Huddersfield? Are there lessons to be learnt in terms of cost-saving, marketing etc.? How to protect your fanbase. Explain why the current...

I think we've got the nucleus of a very good team

it's the large numbers of players in and out that gets me. how can you build something if you're always dismantling it? also the length of time that some of these players leaving have been here is so short that you have to question how effective the scouting and recruiting is in the first place.

Temporary Pitch looking better already ?

Even caught the new manager at his desk in his room. breaking news - a real scoop. who is it?

Temporary Pitch looking better already ?

i think Wasps crowds will hold up okay. don't think rugby fans will be as fickle as football fans. also they play in the top league in their sport so will be playing bigger games than we do in the 3rd tier of our sport.

"The preferred site for the new stadium was revealed..."

I'm not sure what purpose of these 2 attending this meeting serves if they aren't able to share information with the fans. It is not interacting with the fans or keeping them informed if information doesn't flow freely. Is this the same Jonathan Strange who had a "colourful" way of dealing with...

    A bit of Clarity !

really i'd rather have Waggott doing this instead of Fisher. Fisher is damaged goods and a bit of a PR nightmare.

    If wasps

people making several assumptions. 1. Northampton would take us back. 2. the football league would be as eager to agree to this again. the 2+2 year rent deal has taken the pressure of SISU to find funds to finance a new stadium.

    If wasps

just if they bought the club why wouldn't they have its best interests at heart. also assuming they did buy the club the potential income upsides of a successful football club are greater than that of a rugby club.

    If wasps

if they owned both why wouldn't they have the club's best interests at heart? surely the upside of a successful football club is more financially rewarding than that of a successful rugby club?
