    Juke 3 million to Southampton?

every player has their price - £3m for him is pretty decent. Dont want him to go but I think that £3m would clinch it. I wouldnt loan him first though Btw All the info I have is we bought him for nearly £1m not £300K!!???

    Robinson shot down in flames

Just to clear up a couple of points When I said all directors I meant ALL directors that have been on the Board of CCFC. You cant be a director and absolve yourself from the joint and several liability arising from the decisions made. ALL contribute, it is only the level of contribution that...

    Robinson shot down in flames

The facts are that CCFC has been badly run by those who were on the Board over the years since 1996 when the losses kicked in. They made the decision to have poor financial control and to run the club at huge losses. They didnt have to, they could have run the club on a normal commercial basis...

    reflections this dull monday

I dont think we are as fit Rich. Last year under AB the team was the fittest i had seen in seasons but that hasnt followed through this season. Thats a big factor plus young lads might be quick and strong but they dont necessarily have the stamina yet so thats not helped us stand up to things

CCFC SHOT SHY - Facts Prove It

Dont think the forwards are shot shy even despite the poor service they often get. I think it is the rest of the team that is and particularly the midfield. Looked like a flatter diamond to me Rich almost 4:3:1:2

    reflections this dull monday

Summary for steve :) I thought about - the game on Saturday - the art of winning a football game - whether style wins over points - the ownership of the Ricoh - what Otium and hedge funds are for - dismissed several rumours - the match against Cardiff now you can go Christmas...

    reflections this dull monday

Firstly I was pleased to see a decent display from the team on Saturday. The team worked and played some good football. We played higher up the pitch and for 2/3rds of the match were the better team. Credit has to go to the players and AT for that. We lost but I went home with some pride and a...

    Thorn's Subs

Dont have much of a problem with the subs he made on Saturday. Think he was perhaps a little slow in changing the back four but he did get the change right. Baker looked decent enough when he came on McSheffery had just about run out of steam and his decision making deteriorated because of it...

Can we afford to not change coach and manager before Christmas?

What was different on Saturday is that we actually played on the front foot from the first minute - that is a change and you would have to credit AT with that. Why it has taken so long to get to that is another debate however. It did prove that given the right pattern of play, the right impetus...

Isn't it time to swap over goalkeepers?

Admittedly he made a mistake for the 4th goal against Southampton, but I am not sure he was to blame on Saturday.... there wasnt a lot wrong with his positionning for either goal.... both goals had more to do with other errors and bad luck Also I thought he came off his line a number of times in...

Maybe a ray of light to cling on to with all the worry about being casta drift

It isnt even December yet and we are relying on other teams to slip up just so we can keep pace !

Corners, Why dont we leave one man up the pitch?

We have adopted this tactic for seaons. Coleman and Boothroyd set it up the same. Doesnt give us an outlet and I think it keeps pressure on us

    CCFC only account

That would be a stadium out of Coventry then would it? as council unlikely to grant planning permission for another stadium..... aside from the small matter of actually financing it! or the time delays involved! Every single interview with the Council, ACL or Higgs Charity has stressed how...

    CCFC only account

thanks wingy - good research! . certainly looks like its £125m. I just wonder if the £125m is the worth of the contract ie the amount of expected income Compass will get from it rather than the amount they actually pay to ACL. Looks like the deal went through March 2009 which would mean that the...

    CCFC only account

have to see the website info to comment further wingy but I dont see how £12.5m pa can fit into the accounts I have seen as it stands.

    CCFC only account

the way i heard it Compass paid ACL for the right to operate the whole stadium I do not know the sums involved so will take the value you say. If it was an agreement for 10 years it would be income apportioned to ACL over the 10 years ie £1.25m pa but I thought the deal was more recent. However...

    CCFC only account

where did you get the £12.5m per annum figure from wingy? Last accounts only showed a total income of £6m. or is it that figure for 5 years or something? Also Compass bid to cover the whole 365 day operation of the Ricoh not just the 25 or so CCFC match days.

Anyone else hear GR in CWR?

He seems to forget he helped get us into to this god awful mess in the first place! He was part of the Board that ran up massive debts that meant we were vulnerable to SISU etc in the first place. pot calling kettle black me thinks Had he done his job right as part of the Board then the...

Is this what Leonard Brody meant?

Is the Sky Blue Trust actually still functioning - the web site lists no upcoming meetings and has nothing to say since last July. Wasnt someone from the trust on CWR the other Friday though?
