    Cobblers defiant after threat

I suspect the directors are just trying to protect the business in the interests of the shareholders.

    Cobblers defiant after threat

As I said on another thread I'm really sorry that you are involved at all in our fight. This isn't something you should be tarred with and I'm sorry that the stain of SISU has tainted your club. I also hope the Judicial Review that our owners have instigated doesn't hurt your loan from the...

ACL move things up a few gears

No I think they are objecting to him offering to do this new role as well as his current role and think he should stick to being the administrator only. At the hourly rate he has, it's probably cheaper if he doesn't do both unless it's pro bono and even then...

Ricoh Arena to sue Northampton Town FC

I thought (and I may be wrong) that before going to court you had to have made an effort to sort out your differences, so if ACL don't ask NTFC to stop dealing with Otium (through lawyers or otherwise) before taking legal action then the court might not be too impressed.

Fisher "As Dismayed As Anyone" Apparently

And Tim never made statements or agreements on behalf of Ltd whilst it was in admin, so that's all right then.

ACL move things up a few gears

I think SISU are claiming that the council loan was state aid and illegal, and are therefore (in a you couldn't make it up way) moving us to a ground where their council are giving them a 12m loan.

ACL move things up a few gears

Why would the council want to run a football club, any football club?

Ricoh Arena to sue Northampton Town FC

We do have a ground to play at, it's just our owners who are playing silly buggers by refusing to. Sorry NTFC have been dragged into this at all.

    Question for PWKH

I've got a spare Oyster card (same system) somewhere with a few quid on it which was supposed to be in case I lost my season ticket. Turns out I lost the spare.

Ricoh Arena to sue Northampton Town FC

No that's not what I'm saying, you're saying that the loss of the lease in Ltd would yield better dividends which as far as I am aware haven't ever been paid to ACL shareholders. If you have a contract you are expected to honour (and there's a word I don't often use in the same paragraph as...

    Bristol City Trust ballot

Big shout out to the Bristol Massive for just having the vote! (do I sound even remotely young, or just as cringeworthy as I think I do)

    Question for PWKH

That's a big stretch though, not everyone will spend that much and an average is probably £3-£4 per head per match.

Ricoh Arena to sue Northampton Town FC

I would never want to see another club bankrupted because of us or our owners.
  19. James Smith

Ricoh Arena to sue Northampton Town FC

No I didn't say (and haven't ever said) that at all, what I said was they have to protect their business in the interests of the shareholders who are the owners of the business. If you poach a client of a firm who has a legal contract with them then the directors of that firm would be failing in...

Ricoh Arena to sue Northampton Town FC

It could be seen as protecting their business (ACL taking action against NTFC) which would be the directors responsibility, and they'd be negligent if they didn't.
