Everyone on the hill for Saturday

Count yourself lucky enough to have found a pub showing it, wasn't very popular down south and I couldn't find a pub showing it in my area. Good result though.

    kcic campaign - new initiaitve

Erm just to point out that as far as I am aware Bob Ainsworth isn't standing at the next election and so he's hardly looking for votes out of this.

    No new stadium at Ryton

So where are we going to play if they're not going to do so? It is seemingly less likely that ACL are going to wait for us and that may scupper our chances of playing there if they "move on". So you're suggesting we could be stuck in Northampton for ever?

    Seppala the snake?

I heard a rumour way back then that money was being loaned to the club (e.g. by the bank, Co-op wasn't it?) on the basis that it was guaranteed by the value of certain players. No idea how the money would have been repaid if the payments had stopped although demanding the sale of those players...

Just checked and from Wikipedia however http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Airbomb So probably better to bring the latter rather than the former to the hill.

    No new stadium at Ryton

Might be waiting for the outcome of the Judical Review Application Appeal before saying anything about sites. Would be a bit silly though to say repeatedly in the media and to the fans that the club has "moved on" from the Ricoh when they haven't.

    No new stadium at Ryton

But Joy and Tim all say there will (and they should know), hence why people are keen to know where it will be.

Why we're still a great family club....

I can't imagine what the family must have gone through and this appears to have helped enormously, my thoughts are with them. Extremely kind of all concerned and as RoboCCFC90 says is just one of many reasons why I'm proud to be a Sky Blues supporter.

    FAO The Hillers on Sunday

Shame about the vacuum cleaners though, I agree about the fan & his airblade hand dryers (same technology) work well too.... Just never got on with the vacuum cleaner of his that I had.

    Christie Out for a Month

Would rather it was 2 with 1 as a fall back but worried it might be 3.

Club continues to sponsor Grace Research Fund

A distant relative of mine had a premature baby so I can't fault the choice of charity. It could have been worse like one that amongst other things builds community sports facilities. ;)

Club continues to sponsor Grace Research Fund

Thought you could just convert the money 'invested', 'loaned' etc. into shares and then it was okay for FFP?

Club continues to sponsor Grace Research Fund

Maybe someone from SISU/CCFC/Otium would like to clarify that as it's obviously not clear.

Coventry City face more questions over accounts after seeking to re-assure fans

A hippo took an apricot, a guava and a mango. He stuck it with the others, and he danced a dainty tango

Club continues to sponsor Grace Research Fund

But SISU have already said that they will be funding us whilst we're at Sixfields whether we go or not and the new stadium is built. So if they are true to their word (stop sniggering) there shouldn't be any effect on the playing staff.

SISU & Les Reid not talking true? No need to own the RICOH

Sorry I obviously wasn't clear enough but I didn't mention the council - I was just talking about the Higgs share, I haven't seen or heard anything from the council regarding the purchase of their share.

SISU & Les Reid not talking true? No need to own the RICOH

No they agreed a Heads of terms a while ago according to PWKH and then just walked away. Apparently H.O.T. aren't binding so I don't think an actual sale had been agreed. Amazingly I think I'm right in saying they were doing this negotiation during the rent boycott, please someone correct me if...

Everyone on the hill for Saturday

It's unlikely but not beyond the realms of possibility that they might find another tenant, if they offer the same deal as they last made to CCFC then it might be attractive to someone. Now I agree it's a fairly unlikely prospect, but then until the end of last season I'd have said the same...

SISU & Les Reid not talking true? No need to own the RICOH

Yeah and if SISU had bought ACL (or even possibly just the Higgs share) we could be in a similar position where we'd get all the stadium profits. SISU didn't and here we are now homeless in Sixfields and building our new stadium once Tim gets out of the badger droppings.
