    Legal action dropped

When did the council contribute to our club? If SISU have put £100M in then to be where we are at the moment is a joke. Personally I think it's just creative accounting and moving money/debt around.

I want a proper discussion about Freehold ownership

You must have missed where SISU have said they're going to fund the club at Sixfields whilst the new stadium is built - so no need to break NOPM if you are observing it.

    I'm all for -

Nothing wrong with ladies in football, just a shame that whenever we've had a lady streaker I've been late to or unable to get to the match.

Same could be said of the Judicial review: SISU were trying to bully / distress ACL There was never any chance of it succeeding legally. Luckily for ACL, Coventry Council was not going to fall for it.

ACL: How to make Ricoh profitable!

I think it's a bit much to ask people to travel 35 miles for their wedding (let alone a "home game" football match).

Why the need to see Joy?

Okay I was generalising and you're right to an extent but then the fund (Avro Master Fund?) owns us and that has investors in it, the individual investors don't own us directly. Same as my pension fund probably (hopefully) owns shares in a lot companies but I don't own any of the companies...

No I doubt they'd admit that, it would show weakness - but then can we take the increased communication from our club/SISU (not sure I would call what Mr Labovitch said on the radio was good PR) that the financial pressure is building? I do agree that they may be waiting for the outcome of the...

ACL: How to make Ricoh profitable!

There was one on the day of the Legends Charity match and I saw loads of people going to that. I had no idea that they had so many guests to these things as most of the weddings I've been to by comparison looked like very small affairs.

I want a proper discussion about Freehold ownership

Because what we've seen is a situation where we had no idea what constituted the football club, Ltd or Holdings. I'd be worried that SISU would find a loophole/way out and use it to walk off with the freehold.

I want a proper discussion about Freehold ownership

Joy says in the interview she doesn't negotiate so no chance there. http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/news/coventry-news/coventry-city-fc-owner-joy-6096912 However she later goes on to say in full contradictory style My bolding...

Why the need to see Joy?

Those are all (Nokia probably won't be soon but it is at the moment) public limited companies and the owners are spread between individual shareholders, corporate holdings, pension funds etc. This is not so with CCFC as SISU are the 100% owners and it would be nice to see the smiling face of our...

How about, Not One Penny More to CCC...NOPMCCC

Not a clue. Might be down to being a moderator.

    Legal action dropped

Everyone from CCFC/SISU have said that we've moved on (and that includes the now slightly less invisible woman Joy) so maybe we should too as fans? Sisu obviously aren't coming back to the Ricoh as Joy says Plan A is a new stadium, which is a shame but tough as they own the club and can do with...

As has been stated before the Club don't really need to own the freehold to benefit from being at the Ricoh. They just need the revenue from the activities that ACL currently get year round.

    Legal action dropped

What worries me about this dropping of the legals is that ACL might have decided they've had enough of this, wasted too much time/money and "Move on" without us. Suppose they do find another club or tenant to use the pitch as unlikely as it sounds? I thought we'd never move to Sixfields and that...

    Legal action dropped

Ah but we're talking about the freehold here which the council own so do we add £12m or whatever the value of the lease is to the freehold valuation to pay off ACL (i.e. the Higgs and CCC)?

    Legal action dropped

I agree that a third party or two would be better but why get ones done by the choice of either side? If it was set up by some truly independent person, who picks the firms, who in turn aren't getting paid directly by either party (maybe the money goes into an escrow account first) and no-one...

    Legal action dropped

She isn't quoted as saying it in the interview http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/news/coventry-news/coventry-city-fc-owner-joy-6096912 It also ignore the fact that ACL have a lease. She repeated the "We've moved on" mantra and talks about a new stadium...

Nope you can listen to the game on DAB the same as FM but the sound quality isn't as good and you reception sucks.
