    Judicial Review

Okay so I go onto http://www.judiciary.gov.uk/you-and-the-judiciary/going-to-court/high-court and tried to work out which court we would be in and thought it was the Chancery. So I looked on http://www.justice.gov.uk/courts/court-lists and I couldn't find us anywhere in the Chancery so I looked...

    Judicial Review

Doesn't making claims of Illegal acts imply that a crime has been committed? If so who has committed the crime and what laws have been broken? As I understand it SISU are claiming that the loan to ACL is unlawful, but I wasn't aware that they were suggesting a crime had been committed. If they...

    New Stadium confirmed

Can I start the rumour that based on that, SISU are buying the NEC? :)

    New Stadium confirmed

Whilst I want the club back in Coventry by any means and that includes a new stadium, I find the timing of this news 'interesting'. Sadly I will remain yet to be convinced that any new stadium is in the works until building works actually start.

Updated CCFC lowest ever league attendences

Whilst I don't rate their chances in the Judicial Review Application hearing tomorrow, I'd bet that SISU would find a way round the FPP. They can just issue more shares to themselves can't they to put more money in or something like that can't they?

Updated CCFC lowest ever league attendences

As has been pointed before out the words 'Board' & 'Discretion' feature in the football league rules many times. As far as I can see this means they can do what they like if they choose to do so.

    Sixfields or Cheltenham ?

I went to the Cheltenham Town pre season friendly many years ago when BR was still in charge and thought it was a very nice place, both the town and the stadium. Their fans were friendly and it was a warm summers day which undoubtedly helped. Never been tempted to support anyone else though and...

    Grimmest places watching City

Went to a pub in London many years ago when I couldn't make it to Highfield Road for a Monday sky game. I was in North London after a late finishing off site meeting and just went into the first pub I could find showing the game. It had a sticky floor but Importantly the game was on with the...

    JR Review

Never said that there was no state aid, but almost every Train Operating Company receives a subsidy and East Coast is no exception. East Coast just requires less than the others since going back into public ownership.

    JR Review

Well yeah but then what's new with Sisu? Strangely East Coast Trains has performed better under state ownership than private. http://www.mediacentre.eastcoast.co.uk/News/DIRECTLY-OPERATED-RAILWAYS-PUBLISHES-FINANCIAL-RESULTS-FOR-2012-13-3e5.aspx...

I thought the judge had said they enough information to make the appeal and that was why the request was refused. Therefore if they can't make the appeal with the information that they already have.......is the appeal likely to succeed?

I thought they had used that discretion to bend over forwards to help SISU which in turn allows them to compile the fixtures list.

From reading the words of Joy (and that sounds so wrong) in the Les Reid interview it's up to Coventry Council and SISU, with ACL making an appearance in the discussions.

I thought most things were up to the discretion of the FL board, which then covers their asses against almost everything?

    Booing

I am fairly certain that I've mentioned before that as part of my degree I studied media law. Then whilst working in the media I was required to attend refresher sessions. I don't 'get off' on it, just pointing out things as I see them.

    Booing

To be pedantic he never actually referred to this site in his original post, just you. Also by admiting that you frequently tell lies you have (as I understand it, but I am not a lawyer) weakend your position if you were to attempt to launch an action for defamation against someone accusing you...

    Booing

I've got no truck with booing during the match - the team need support, but at the end of the game if you don't feel they gave you value for money then why not? You paid to be entertained after all.
