Some Feedback from Les on SBT Leagal Action

Which would explain why Sisu threatened our Category 2 Academy status  No so long as you don't break the rules you can post whatever opinion you like. Just don't expect everyone to like everything you post.

Why a new ground is the fair way forward

If SISU have no intention of building a new ground and everyone is in favour of that then I would expect them to change tack. If there is a groundswell of opinion in favour of a new stadium, then people will appear to try and dampen this new found interest and attempt to steer us back to...

Why a new ground is the fair way forward

Tim said that they'd sell the surrounding land to help fund the project a bit like Tesco and the Ricoh so it wouldn't be as much as that they would have to find investors for.

Why a new ground is the fair way forward

I'm just sick of Sisu saying that they won't go back as tenants, and the council unable or unwilling to sell to them - as this could go on for years otherwise. I'm no fan of SISU and Coventry aren't my council so no love lost there.

Why a new ground is the fair way forward

Hence why I said in my earlier post that they need to get their arses in gear.

Sorry you're quite right and I'll edit it.

Why a new ground is the fair way forward

Worryingly I find myself agreeing with the sentiment of his post - we need a new stadium in Coventry.

Why a new ground is the fair way forward

I may need to go and have a lie down as I have been saying this sort of thing for some time. If Joy doesn't want to go back to the Ricoh as a tenant of the council then that's fine she owns the club and she can effectively do what she likes with it. So if she wants to build a stadium to bring...

Just looked that one up and ISOHunt was done for copyright violations I think. They were targeted by the MPAA amongst others and they make most litigants look like amateurs. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IsoHunt

But would the same be true if it were a reference in the back of a book or suggested further reading. Or in a newspaper column it said see tweet number 522 from celebrity X made last night? Could really do with a media lawyer to answer that one if there is case law, but I'm not sure there is any...

Yes except is just a hyperlink actually repeating the defamatory statement or not? A retweet arguably is but I'm not sure that the law has yet decided whether just a link to the material counts as the same as republishing the material.

Isn't a re-tweet a repeat of the original tweet not a link to it?

Some Feedback from Les on SBT Leagal Action

Well we're customers of our club or supporters as we're also known. I agree though we are not the direct customers of SISU Capital.

Some Feedback from Les on SBT Leagal Action

No I would have had whoever is in charge of community relations make a call to the person named in the letter and ask them to take it down - please. Setting the lawyers on someone/a group especially someone who is representing a large number of our supporters sends out the wrong message...

Some Feedback from Les on SBT Leagal Action

We had a go at the previous bunch who were mostly clueless and got us relegated from the premiership. I can remember the shouting of "sack the board" at HR and away matches. However there were good things that remember from their stewardship for want of a better word - some of the fondest being...

There's been discussion on here but it appears that doing so would be incredibly difficult if not imoossible.

You'll have noticed the word "if" at the start of that post? I have no way of knowing what CCFC or SISU intend to do. Do you?
