    legal action?

Does this mean those nice Sisu lawyers who wrote that nice letter to the Trust have written one to the Guardian?

The club needs to hold the freehold.

I've said before that the club should own ACL, it's just Sisu (who walked away from negotiations with the higgs after starting the boycott) appear unwilling or unable to stump up anything like the amount needed to buy it.

When I went to Stoke for the first time I was totally unprepared for just how cold it would be. A very nice lady I was next to let me share the blanket she had brought. She had to leave before the end and I basically froze solid after that. If the hill is half as cold as that day I don't envy...

    A Convert ?

Welcome to the House of Fun, don't get put off by the fact that most people are polarised either for or against our owners or for or against ACL/the council.

The club needs to hold the freehold.

Don't think so, they had different entries on whichever website it was that I looked them up on last Friday.

Are SISU vindicitive enough to liquidate Otuim ?

I wasn't sure that it did (I could see that being the case for the company name but who cares about the name Otium) and so I never mentioned liquidation, just admin.

The club needs to hold the freehold.

So if ACL paid off the mortgage completely and still wanted us back your opinion would change? How about if ACL were doing well enough to let the club play there rent free (so long as profit was above a certain level) and there was reduced matchday costs as well you'd have a problem with us...

The club needs to hold the freehold.

No it doesn't get ACL out of the picture they've still got the lease and according to PWKH despite the loss of the club business is improving. Now that from a Sisu point of view isn't good as it means that their NOPM tactic against ACL isn't working. So they just put more pressure on the council...

The club needs to hold the freehold.

Yeah Sisu don't seem keen to take on obtaining the Higgs share themselves. The charity don't have to sell to Sisu do they and I think Joy knows this only too well. So rather than have to force the charity out - which even for Sisu would be seen as negative publicity, tell the council they have...

The club needs to hold the freehold.

Yeah that sadly appears to be it, I can't see there's much of a benefit for the the club. RFC has claimed this is vital but when asked for a reason why he disappears.

Are SISU vindicitive enough to liquidate Otuim ?

If we're talking being vindictive then the obviously very nasty thing to do would be to put Otium into Administration. Then as the main creditor buy the assets which would be Ryton, the players although you'd probably sell those off first before Admin and the Club intelectual property i.e. the...

They'd probably just say that it's exclusive to them on Matchdays when CCFC are playing their home games there. You could complain to the ASA but probably not sue them over it.

    Lowest Ever Coventry City Attendance?

If Sisu are asked in court why they didn't negotiate before going on the rent boycott, I wonder what their answer would be? I mean the reason for the breakdown in relations was caused by the sudden and repeated non payment of rent.

    Lowest Ever Coventry City Attendance?

They could also point (if allowed) to the comments of the first judge that the rent boycott was an attempt to distress ACL - hence the need for the loan.

    Times Today - SISU Indictment

Hull don't pay the council to rent the stadium though, the council leased the stadium for 50 years to a company called "Superstadium Management Company" (SMC) which is currently owned by the club's owner Mr Allam. The terms of the lease mean that the only revenue the council get from the stadium...

    Sisu/Higgs

I checked on Friday night the Higgs Centre has different trustees to the main charity and the only common link is PWKH who is the secretary/clerk to both sets of Trustees - and Chairman of the Trustees at the Centre. What I suspect (and it is only a theory) is that the Higgs are seen as a...
