    higgs not prepared to sell

Can anyone post a verbatim transcript of what she said regarding this because the more I've thought about it the less likely it sounds.
  2. James Smith

    higgs not prepared to sell

Maybe they are waiting for their costs from the last time to be paid before going anywhere near Sisu again.
  3. James Smith

    higgs not prepared to sell

Think that the Higgs would have to at least get their money back to stop the Charity Commission from hauling them over the coals.

    Mark Labo Interview

So new stadium it is then : facepalm: If Sisu had bought ACL when they first had the chance they could have bought it for a lot less than it's likely to cost now.

    Mark Labo Interview

To quote a manager I once had "either pay up or piss off"

    Mark Labo Interview

They do seem to move the goal posts quite a bit. We started off this sorry affair because Sisu didn't negotiate the high rent they just stopped paying it. Then when better offers were made on the rent to the level Sisu wanted, it became about the pie money etc.

    Mark Labo Interview

So why not make an offer for ACL first?
  8. James Smith

    Mark Labo Interview

Sounds like the Administration sale to me only with Sisu making lowball offers this time. What if the offer in the summer was the best one JS is prepared to make? She also allegedly said that the club wouldn't come back to the Ricoh unless Sisu had the freehold. So if that's all true unless...

    Mark Labo Interview

Some people think that JS did make an offer of around that figure in the summer for the freehold. Obviously that wasn't seen as a sensible amount.

Selling what for £6m ACL, the freehold, the club?

    Mark Labo Interview

I'll have to have a listen later but it sounds like ML was still spouting a load of carp.

Significant Council announcement on Ricoh coming

Moved on my arse. You don't move on by starting an expensive Judicial Review.
  13. James Smith

    Mark Labo Interview

How? The best deal for the owners is to pay as little as possible the best deal for the Taxpayer is to sell for the most money.
  14. James Smith

Significant Council announcement on Ricoh coming

Wasn't aware they had been cheated. Might have been the kick up the backside ACL needed.
  15. James Smith

Significant Council announcement on Ricoh coming

WorldWideCouncilFighting the WWCF - we could be on to something there.
  16. James Smith

Significant Council announcement on Ricoh coming

When have the taxpayers or the charity ever seen any money from ACL? I thought all the profits were reinvested in the arena.
  17. James Smith

Significant Council announcement on Ricoh coming

When did that happen? The Higgs only agreed a HOT with Sisu and then Sisu walked away and as far as I know have yet to reimburse the Higgs for their costs despite agreeing to do so. CCC couldn't veto the sale of the charity share as no sale had been agreed and HOT aren't binding.
  18. James Smith

    Steve Waggott

Yes anybody who buys the Ricoh could do that, is it likely-who knows? What I'd ideally like is for someone with money to spare buying CCFC (Otium etc.) and ACL negotiating a longer lease into the equation. Then the profits from ACL can go into our club and we wouldn't be reliant on whoever...

    Steve Waggott

I agree that there is a potential benefit for Sisu, just not seeing one for our club.
  20. James Smith

    Steve Waggott

Could you explain please what benefit our club would get from owning the ACL revenues and the freehold as opposed to just the ACL revenues?
