Sisu -do the decent thing and go!!

Even Tim Fisher himself has admitted there is no future with Sisu as owners.

    AFC Coventry

What? I was there today cheering on my team. The players and club staff aren't to blame for the disgusting actions of the clubs owners. Why do you think I should take it out on them?

    AFC Coventry

I would support whoever represented our City.

    AFC Coventry

If the current CCFC ceases to exist there would probably for 3 or 4 'phoenix clubs' vying to be its successor. Basically the first to successfully negeotiate new rent terms with ACL will be the new CCFC as they will be the only one with potential.

Coins thrown in Block 16 - some of our own fans are a disgrace

Scum. Didn't see who done it, but seen the guy in the Eddie Stobart top shouting up at someone, it seemed to stop after that.

    £45m

<p> So you think that putting £45m into a club and making it worse is good business?

    £45m

I'm an idiot for having a different opinion than you?

    £45m

I've never said they haven't put money into the club. They've wasted it though due to their incompetence, and I don't really see how anyone can disagree with that. Spending £45m to turn a mid table championship club into a mid table league 1 club is not good business practice.

    Well, Well....

In that situation they should have come out publically and said 'We've made mistakes, its nobodys fault but ours, but we really could do with help from ACL'. That I could support.

    £45m

So is the club destined to keep losing £6m a year forever?

    Stuart Linell

The only reason Linnell comes across like that is because he is so passionate about the Sky Blues. As a kid I got to look round the Mercia studios, and he seemed a decent guy.

    Well, Well....

I don't disagree with any of that. As I've said before I have no problem with the club trying to renegotiate, its the way they've done it that I have a problem with.

    £45m

So as long as they continue to waste the clubs money they are free from criticism?
  14. coundonskyblue

    Well, Well....

What exactly do you want the council to do? So many people criticise ACL without actually saying what they want.
  15. coundonskyblue

    £45m

How is the council responsible for a £6m loss a year? Good old Paul Fletcher, the man responsible for building the Ricoh, key player in ACL, then jumped ship to CCFC and complained about the deal he was originally part of. No time for anything that man has to say. Basically he wanted the...

    Well, Well....

The previous regime had no right to complain about the high rent, they were the ones that put the club into this situation. Whenever I hear Geoffrey Robinson talking about it now I want to hit him, he is the one that originally did it.

    Well, Well....

The money from Tesco? Does this not mean Tesco should be offered money from ACL? Afterall the stadium wouldn't exist if it wasn't for them.
  18. coundonskyblue

    Well, Well....

Would/Should Sisu help out ACL if it was in trouble?
  19. coundonskyblue

    Well, Well....

I don't remember many on here saying the council should subsidise the Coventry Blaze a few years ago when they were in trouble.

And what would the landlord do with someone who refuses to pay?
