Breaking news: Acl call off rent talks

They haven't paid anything in rent for 12 months. What they have paid is matchday costs, they would have to pay these regardless. Typical Fisher spin I'm afraid. As for the Escow account, that isn't there as some sort of rent holiday for CCFC to abuse whenever they feel like it.

    If Swindon are bringing 3000...

Were bound to win if Swindon have 2300 plastics supporting them using this threads logic.

    If Swindon are bringing 3000...

Are the 3k Swindon fans not proper fans as that's a lot more than they used to get? What about our higher away followings this year, are they not proper fans?

Time for a Protest outside the Council House?

Breaking news: Acl call off rent talks

How is that Democracy? I don't remember shareholders holding a vote on whether the club should be sold to Sisu. Geoffrey Robinson realised the game was up and sold to whoever he could. Preferably someone who enjoyed the use of confidentiallity agreements as much as the last board too ensure...

Breaking news: Acl call off rent talks

Spot on. If we had owners who didn't lie, didn't lurch from one disaster to another, didn't take a business at its lowest point in 45 years and still manage to make it worse, and who acted in a reasonable way when it come to negeotiations, then I would trust the clubs side of the story when it...

Take The Offer Or Face The Legal Consequences. - Carter

There will be no new ground in Coventry as the club have no money and the council wouldn't give planning permission for it anyway. Then there's the small fact that the club is liable for Ricoh rent for about another 40 years.

Breaking news: Acl call off rent talks

We were told at the start of the season that we had the 3rd highest wage bill in the league, yet we have still been able to comply with ffp. What has changed?

    Three Year Plan

This might be a silly question but is that email a joke? I only ask as I can't understand how anyone could describe this season as a success. In reality its been a disaster, any if the club thinks they've done well then it only highlights the loser mentality that surrounds it.

That'll do me for this season...

The club has been in heavy debt since the mid nighties, that would still exist now at HR. The Ricoh is a far better ground from a fans point of view.

Is it time to seriously consider leaving the RICOH?

I'm not talking about the level of the rent payments. Just that there seems to be an idea that just because we rent our ground it isn't our home.

Is it time to seriously consider leaving the RICOH?

To those who say its not ours because we're only a tenant, if you live in a council house is that not your 'home'?

    Tom Fisher Q & A email

The club would no longer exist if it wasn't for the council.

With the bank accounts effectively frozen

Todays result would have affected it how? This is a matter of such importance for the club that it by far over shadows a single game of football. Thank you OSB for a sensible response.

Is it time to seriously consider leaving the RICOH?

One season in league 1 and its our level? Of the 93 years we've been in the league 75% of it is in the top two divisions. So this certainly is not our level.
