ACL has "net value of nil"

I think you might have missed the "net" bit.

    SISU lost the club £4M

As a general principle that's true (subject to the present value of future income streams etc etc), but from where we are currently, getting back to the "Ricoh status quo" looks a pretty tall order let alone recouping how many years worth of £2m's (not to mention lost sponsorship and merchandise...

    Marilyn Knatchbull Hugessen answers questions

It's pretty clear that they did want to sell, but were concerned that SISU might pull out and leave them with "dead" costs.

I think you misunderstand. It'll be me checking on you (insert evil laugh) :)

Totally agree. The season feels a bit of a let down because of the great start, but staying up will be a pretty impressive achievement in the circumstances.

Fair enough, I will make a note that you will only ever comment on anything relating to performances over a full season.

    Depressing Stat

I agree with much of that. Our start was little short of wonderful. I was however one of the "pessimists" who at the time posted that this had a bit of the feel of Bobby Gould's first season as manager - for those who can remember that far back! With a small and young squad, it always...

    Depressing Stat

If you think that looking at our form over the most recent (almost) four month period is "odd", then fair enough. I'd have thought that it was a fairly relevant indicator as to how things are currently going.

    Depressing Stat

That is true to an extent, but the worrying (if not totally surprising) thing is the way our form has collapsed. If you look at a league table that runs from 1st January, we're one place and one point outside the relegation zone - and that's with no points deduction.

SP hoping for clarity on CCFC's future home

If you feel that the administration process was fully open and transparent, then I would have thought that you were in something of a minority. The position where a legal entity whose accounts had shown it to be a trading football club was suddenly found to be a non-trading property owning...

Why can't Sisu accept a temp rent deal

Not sure how you got that impression!

Why can't Sisu accept a temp rent deal

So they're prepared to effectively turn away 80% - 90% of their "customer base" because "they don't want to rent a stadium". Got to be honest - I find that impossible to understand.

    Tomorrow.

I must have somehow converted "Rankin" to "Garner". Glad he's still with us, was impressed by him in the pre-season game at Nuneaton.

Hasn't Garner been released by the club - or did I dream that?

    A few questions for PWKH

I'd have thought that best practice would be to spread the revenue recognition over the number of years that the premium related to. Having said that, accountancy is sometimes more of an art than a science :D

    It is all dead

Stupot - as you imply, you've repeated that piece of information a number of times. I think that I'm right in saying that your implication is that disconnect between "attendance league position" and "revenue league position" is down to what has become known around these parts as "pie money"...

    It is all dead

In my view it would very much depend on their perception of why they had moved. If I believed that we had been forced out of the Ricoh and had no choice but to move, then not only would I be attending Sixfields, I'd probably be buying a couple of extra season tickets as a gesture of solidarity.

Seems to have gone very quite on this

He could at least have said they'd have one "in three weeks".
