Best, Banks and Moore were memorable, but the best individual performance I ever saw was Glen Hoddle on a frozen Highfield Road pitch where the "ordinary" players could hardly stand up, but he spent the afternoon spraying inch perfect passes about.

I agree with some of what you say, but on what we know, it already seems to be in SISU's best interests to accept the short term deal at the Ricoh while they build their new stadium (disbelief suspended....). This is a big part of the problem, we don't really know (or perhaps I should say...

I don't think that it was ever going to change anything in the short term. I'm not sure why you say it has "proven totally ineffective in influencing the outcome" unless you believed that it would persuade SISU to move back to the Ricoh before the JR - which in my opinion, was never going to...

I don't believe that SISU are not influenced by the loss of income. I also don't believe that the catastrophic (seems a fair word) loss of support won't have any impact on their plans for the future.
