THE PROTEST EFFECT - Did it really make a difference ???

I understand that it's available on Youtube - bit of a shame for those trying to re-write history :)

Don't knock it - that's 60% of 4p for SP to spend on the squad :)

Message re the 4,000 ST holders..

Post from another thread: I had season tickets in the Telegraph stand. Given that we were told that it would be closed, I bought other tickets for Friday's game. I emailed the club this morning to ask them to put my "old seats" on general sale and have already had a reply from the club...

    Waiting for another 6,000 tickets.

I had season tickets in the Telegraph stand. Given that we were told that it would be closed, I bought other tickets for Friday's game. I emailed the club this morning to ask them to put my "old seats" on general sale and have already had a reply from the club confirming that they would...

    Leon Clarke Rumour

Went to Wolves yesterday. He was an unused sub. Their forwards were doing shooting practice in front of us before the game. Don't think he scored once! if you could (somehow) put all the personal issues to one side, then I'd have him back in a flash, but too much baggage there.

    Seating changes for Ricoh Return

Just beat me to it CCFC. Bit of a shame, as I'd have hoped to resume sitting near to the people I got to know (a little, not enough to exchange contact details, I am British after all....) on match days over recent years. On the other hand, if it does help the atmosphere, then it'll be worth it.

    ntfc contract

Given the lost ticket revenue, the lost sponsorship, the legal fees and of course that nice Mr Appleton's costs any commitment to Northampton will be lost in the roundings.

    Not good News

It appears that SISU are very much a one trick pony in their approach to negotiation. "Play hardball", "batter the other side" etc etc. that's fine if you win, but that seems to be less and less likely as the days go by. Will there come a point at which they see the need to build some...

Bobby Gould wants to meet Joy

BG came into the club when the vast majority of players had been allowed to run down their contracts and decided to depart - largely in protest at the removal of Dave Sexton. He had a limited time and a limited budget to bring in the bulk of a new squad. According to every pundit that...
