What would you define as a knock down price? A club that has very few tangible assets, unsustainable rent and is losing money would, in my opinion, have very little value.

To me it just a threat to ACL that, " you can sue us, and possibly win, but you won't get anything as we'll liquidate". How can ACL commit legal fees with that threat in place?

As someone who has had business negotiations with the council I, personally, pity SISU. Trying to get the council to agree to anything is like trying to nail a jelly to a dart board.

I guess that was merely bluster. Why would they liquidate? If their is a buyer waiting in the wings they could sell and recoup some money. If they liquidate what would they get?

All excellent questions that, sadly, we don't know the answers to. Without the answers administration is, for us as supporters, a game of Russian roulette.

Administration is, potentially, a very real step towards liquidation.

I don't know, and I guess nobody does, but one thing is for sure, at the minute SISU, in theory, owe ACL over £1m and, from sisu's perspective, throwing £100k at solicitors, if it saves £150k is money well spent. And, as that is the case, I think ACL have a battle on their hands.
