    New Players Next Week ?

Wouldn't it be great if there was a millionaire/billionaire Coventry FAN waiting in the wings? Someone that has experienced the shit we've had to put up with over the years and just wants to make things better for us all by playing some of his cash. Instead, I imagine we'll end up with...

    New Players Next Week ?

That's the long term plan.... Keeping bringing new millionaire owners, bleeding them dry and then sending them on their way!!

American property tycoon will move to buy Coventry if club slides into administration

A millionaire is no good to us - we need to be thinking big time - we need a billionaire!!!

Why do our potential investors need to wait for admin to buy the Arena?

So what is wrong with the way have conducted theirselves? I can't imagine anyone would pay the rent, if they considered it unfair,, and then try and reclaim it afterwards (as they would have no chance of getting anything back). SISU may play hard ball but I don't see many businesses, in this...

Why do our potential investors need to wait for admin to buy the Arena?

Do you really believe any prospective purchaser is going to deal with ACL in an, "honest transparent and straight forward manner?" Anybody acquiring the business will do so at the best possible price to them - to think otherwise is madness. Indeed, if our new owners dealt in such a manner...

Sky Blue Trust - Certainty of takeover

It was only a joke italia - I actually agree with the majority of what you say.

    OK fellow footy pollsters....

I think you've shown your position in the poll. I don't agree with everything that is said on this forum but, I don't believe anybody is anti CCFC - we just have different views on the best way of supporting and progressing ccfc. For me this poll should have been between ACL and SISU and...

Sky Blue Trust - Certainty of takeover

Anyone could say that. I know a whole load of potential buyers (including myself). The problem is non of us have got any money but that doesn't stop the fact we're potential buyers! ACL took this action because their tenant wasn't, and isn't likely to, pay the rent. Any other reason...

    Tactics for Friday

The SISU directors should stand on the sidelines and whenever their barrister makes a statement, "boo" him. Apparently, the, "booing"'is guaranted to boost his confidence and performance!

Sky Blue Trust - Certainty of takeover

£10m for ccfc? From which assylum did we find these buyers?

So the SB trust want administration

In fairness, it wasn't how it came across on the tv. When a presenter asks four members and they all say the same thing, which was effectively, "we are willing to enter admin to get rid of SISU," it appears as if that is the party line. Perhaps, it would have been more reflective/better to...

    A serious question:

The sky blue trust now have 1100 members. So that means they've taken £1100.00 from fans. What do they use that money for?

    would you rather?

What would you define as a knock down price? A club that has very few tangible assets, unsustainable rent and is losing money would, in my opinion, have very little value.

    would you rather?

To me it just a threat to ACL that, " you can sue us, and possibly win, but you won't get anything as we'll liquidate". How can ACL commit legal fees with that threat in place?

    would you rather?

As someone who has had business negotiations with the council I, personally, pity SISU. Trying to get the council to agree to anything is like trying to nail a jelly to a dart board.
  16. S

    would you rather?

I guess that was merely bluster. Why would they liquidate? If their is a buyer waiting in the wings they could sell and recoup some money. If they liquidate what would they get?

    would you rather?

All excellent questions that, sadly, we don't know the answers to. Without the answers administration is, for us as supporters, a game of Russian roulette.
  18. S

    would you rather?

Administration is, potentially, a very real step towards liquidation.

    Fridays outcome?

I don't know, and I guess nobody does, but one thing is for sure, at the minute SISU, in theory, owe ACL over £1m and, from sisu's perspective, throwing £100k at solicitors, if it saves £150k is money well spent. And, as that is the case, I think ACL have a battle on their hands.
