    What if....

Having set the lease aside by putting this non-operating company into administration SISU then take up the first refusal to buy Higgs out of ACL? Could be a masterstroke by SISU?

    Part of me...

.... hopes that as well as transferring the rental agreement to this non operational company, before sending it bust, that sisu also transferred David bells playing contract to it. At least I'd have something to make me smile!! (And before anyone criticises me for this I can't stand bell -...

Is the court case on or off?

If there is any doubt over whether it's on or not SISU, or their representatives, will be there. There will be a lot of money spent tomorrow on 2 sets of solicitors and 2 sets of barristers (money which could fund a new striker).

ACL putting freeze on our account

Whereas the big saviour from America would have sky blue running through his veins?

That was kind of the point I was making?

    CCFC put itself into administration

I'd love to know the answer to that question as well.

    CCFC put itself into administration

Was filing for administration not provocation? I know I wouldn't have seen it as a friendly slap on the back if I'd have been SISU.

Has there EVER been a season like this for CCFC?

It seems to me that it's just another season in a long line of pretty shit seasons!

ACL putting freeze on our account

The truth is no one really knows (except some clever solicitors somewhere) and I doubt they know if it will work.

ACL putting freeze on our account

If it was written in the original agreement it would be considered to have already been agreed with ACL. It is a standard inclusion in many agreements such as collateral warranties and commercial rental agreements.

ACL putting freeze on our account

I guess that's right (but, like everyone, I am only guessing). I can't see ACL turning down rent though (no matter who pays). But then - what do I know??

ACL putting freeze on our account

There may have been an agreement in the tenancy that the risks and obligations could be transferred to an in-house company. I certainly think ACL would have had a similar clause in case they sold the arena. As this would have been pre-agreed SISU would just have had to invoke the change and...

There might not be a points deduction

In business terms lots of companies are intrinsically linked - it means nothing. All that matters is who ACL had a contract with. (But again I have no idea if a points deduction will remain). It's seem strange that people suggested acl's move for administration was a master stroke but...

    Club Statement

In the business world it happens all the time. You'll normally have a holding company that owns all the assets and operating companies underneath which are exposed to the risks of business. If one of the businesses catches a cold somewhere it is closed down without affecting the other...

    Richardson - Genius or Villain?

Did we really sell Aloisi for £600k? I wouldn't believe it if I hadn't watched from the sidelines trying to work out what he'd done to upset the management.

    Richardson - Genius or Villain?

I work with a number of Derby fans and we don't agree on many things but the one point that is never in dispute is that Bryan Richardson is a right c#@t!

Lovely, kindly SISU, who have funded our club for the last 6 years...

I agree 100%. But the fact that any potential purchasers are only willing to buy ccfc at a cut down price, after administration, would suggest to me that they are hard nosed b'stard businessmen (a little like those that are so despised by some on this forum). So, unless: A) SISU really...

Lovely, kindly SISU, who have funded our club for the last 6 years...

Ridiculous comments!! You can't imply that SISU are hard nosed b'stard businessmen in 90% of your posts and then suggest they wouldn't sell if an attractive proposition was put to them. I'd imagine they would happily be shot of CCFC!
