    TM Update

He is the CEO of the company. Why would you think all he does is sign players and managers?

    TM Update

Why would SW go if TM signs? SW is CEO - are you suggesting TM should be both CEO and manager? Or would you have TF back as CEO? I'm struggling with the logic here.

    mowbray talks

Reduce investments? No investments promised, non demanded. Staff will be within current budget. Waggott is always going to sign off contracts - he is CEO. So no, none of those are really valid. It seems some just wants to fuel their own hatred towards the owners.

    mowbray talks

He hasn't asked for more funds, he is comfortable with the current budget. Structures will have been approved by JS/TM/SW at their meeting in London. It's down to the details now - who, what and when. The only thing that I see as a potential deal breaker is if another club comes knocking.

And what promises is that? He doesn't want further investments - what else could they potentially back track on?

    Positive Talks

No, at this point it won't be about money. The budget is known to all involved and everybody will work within that. It's about 'the structures' - how, what and who. It's practicalities - and they will find a way through.

    New stadium meeting with RBC

The club will not own the stadium. it will be owned by investors ... and so will any associated debts. The club will own a new stadium management company.

Of course he is. I have done the same a few times in my career. Haven't you?

    Waggot is hurting too

If we can underachieve with the wrong manager and the wrong players, maybe we can overachieve with the right manager and the right players?

    Mowbray or Waggott

I am not trying to pull TM down from the pedestal but he is actually only saying what any job applicant for a leader position would/should say: 'I know what I can do. I know what I can change. I assume full responsibility. I will work within the budgets. I am raring to go.' If the chemistry is...

    Mowbray or Waggott

I think he demands a scouting system. The only off-field matter he has talked about ever since he came here has always been about scouting. The missing database that SP apparently assumed was his personal property for example. When he speaks about structure and processes then I believe it's all...

    Mowbray or Waggott

I don't get why some would think TM would demand the removal of either SW or TF. TF is chairman and not involved in the day-to-day operation. SW is CEO and not involved in the playing side - only negotiating the contracts, and TM isn't even interested in that part. There is nothing in the...

    Mowbray or Waggott

I think he is saying what any owner would like to hear. He assumes responsibility in exchange for control. He is not asking for more funding, he seem to believe the necessary finances are there to achieve what he sees as success. He wants processes and structures which is the basic foundation...

    Blackpool fans

I don't think points deduction is on the cards. Most likely the club will face a hefty fine. The invaders is likely going get a long ban - the rules say up to 10 years from any football. On top of that they will get a fine from the police and have a criminal record. Make it hard(er) to find a...

Joe Elliot: Even He Likes Wasps

Yes, I understand what you meant. But stealing a wallet is illegal :-). But the discussion is all about blaming fans - why? Surely the fans aren't responsible for ACL being sold to Wasps?

Joe Elliot: Even He Likes Wasps

A little over the top if I may say so - Wasps did nothing illegal. The anger/blame should be on our owners and the council for going into complete melt down. The early call in January 13 for a mediator should have been accepted by both parties to steer away from the ridiculous chain of events...
