    By 'they' you mean Richardson?

Lucas sad that ccfc don't run ricoh

I am sure it did, but the circumstances were more complicated than just the rent strike. The goal for all parties at that time was to have Yorkshire Bank write off a significant chunk of the loan. Was the valuation made to support that? They also had to take into account that the deal would...

    An offer to SISU

I don't know, did you? Again, what makes your offer attractive to sisu? If it's confidential then just say so.

During - before we were pushed into administration and out of the stadium. Sometimes in September/October 2012.

    An offer to SISU

I didn't get to read your offer, so I am just wondering what makes it attractive to sisu?

    An offer to SISU

Why would they find such an offer attractive? Surely they can buy land and build a stadium themselves - and keep the club instead of having to write off loans? No offer is ever serious if it isn't relatively attractive to both buyer and seller.

Lucas sad that ccfc don't run ricoh

Has this blog been discussed before? New to me, but written Nov, 2014. Anyway, this indicate they were effectively contemplating buying ACL in Summer/Autumn 2012: Eastwood was assigned CEO in November. The CCFC/ACL/CCC/HIGGS negotiations took place in 2012. As reported by testimonials in the...

Sisu make official complaint over Coventry councillors' conduct

You can't say none of them have been dishonest - have they always told the truth? If half of ACL was my business I wouldn't have taken over the full loan knowing the business was extremely fragile and depending on one hostile customer. If I'd done that I would have sacked myself when I sobered up.

    'Anti-SISU brigade'

Hmm - I must be doing something wrong. Better go back and check. :-) Anyway, after writing the last post I remembered you saying back in early 2013 when ACL started legal actions to get the club to pay the outstanding rent, that this would not end well and most likely both parties would end up...

    'Anti-SISU brigade'

Ah hmm - their strategy worked. They won the battle. It turned out to be a 'Pyrrhus victory' as in the end they lost the war. But CCC/Higgs fought to maintain control over ACL. They won against sisu, but in the end it was also in vain as they had to sell to Wasps. I would say both were...

    'Anti-SISU brigade'

No, they didn't pay £20m - they paid £6m. This has been discussed like a thousand times, and the conclusion is the same every time: Wasps paid £6m for the company ACL. The confusion is always around the loan/mortgage. That loan was initially given by Yorkshire Bank. Sisu's tactic was to...

    Telegraph Poll

It's sad really. Journalism is supposed to inform and enlighten the readers - instead they mislead in search for 'clicks' and sales. How come the journalists have become indifferent to professional pride? Won't be long before I'll trust a used car sales man over a journalist.

Another post suggesting all the company CEO does is signing players (and presumably managers).
