    #BringCityHome up for another award

It's all very good you being nominated for awards, and it's great you recognize the fans participation. Now the club is 'home' and need supporters through the gates to allow the new manager a decent budget. How about you start a campaign to support that? Just an idea ...

    Another Target Gone Elsewhere!!!

This is true, but we will still beat them 2-0 in the first game of the season.

Michael Mifsud - Malta. Surprised he's not been mentioned. Anyway, think we can close the thread with: http://www.worldfootball.net/teams/coventry-city/10/

    Sustainability

It's kind of ironic that sisu ownership 2.0 (after the disastrous ver 1.0 - Ranson/Hoffman/Elliott) has laid the ground for even discussing sustainability. The cost cutting, the rent strike, the escape from the Ricoh lease contract, getting rid of high earning players, avoiding paying exorbitant...

If I were in charge of SISU's PR...

Yeah, kind of makes my point that sisu do not advertise when they 'gift' the club more money.

If I were in charge of SISU's PR...

The accounts (Otium/2014) says: Subsequent to year-end, the company has received additional funding from ARVO Master Fund Limited of £1,021,192 in the form of preferential shares.

If I were in charge of SISU's PR...

Does sisu even have someone in charge of their PR? I doubt it. But the club on the other hand ... busy updating twitter and website I suppose.

If I were in charge of SISU's PR...

Excuse me, I don't have a university degree in economics, so I have to ask what is 'non-returnable equity' and how does it work? Does it means it doesn't carry an interest or return? Or did you mistype and meant to say non-refundable? In that case won't they be refunded when the club is sold -...

So... This new stadium is taking a while...

If I understand this correctly, the site and building will be financed and owned by new investors. They will own the stadium. If this will be established under SBS&L or outside the group is unclear. I personally would place it outside the group to protect the investors. A new company acquire a...

So... This new stadium is taking a while...

Throwing money at players isn't a certain way out of the division. I think TM is using the right approach. He just need to keep building without bankrupting the club. Belief, fans support and a positive hype is much more important. I have no idea if they will win the revised JR or not. But...

So... This new stadium is taking a while...

Wasn't it just 'talk on the street' outside the court - the 100's of millions. I haven't seen anything official from sisu, only that their reps in court said they would seek compensation if they were to win the revised JR. And claiming they will only see a return with significant investment in...

So... This new stadium is taking a while...

If their purpose is to make money - as most seem to agree on here - then why not make more? They wouldn't simply walk away, they would sell up, so they need to build value in order to have something to sell.

So... This new stadium is taking a while...

No I won't change my opinion simply because it doesn't suit other posters. Put me on ignore if you fell offended. I think most club owners are in it for the money. It's very rare to see life-time fans owning a club simply for the love and affection of the club. The old days are long gone...

So... This new stadium is taking a while...

Actually it could be very different. We (the club) don't own ACL, but could own the equivalent stadium management company in a new stadium. Sisu fought hard (and dirty) for that solution at the Ricoh, but lost. If they believe in that construction surely they would implement it in a new stadium?
