I'm afraid that that is the logic that allows people to tar everyone who attends Sixfields with the North East Skyblue brush.

I didn't hear this - what did he say? Last comment I heard from him on this subject was that he wouldn't talk to ACL until "they gave the 10 points back", so it sounds like he's moving position. Good news all round if he is.

The classic response to being beaten in debate. "Ha ha, I was only winding you up - now I'm off" Rather sad really.

How many people have expressed that view. We have sold out at Shrewsbury a week in advance of the game. That suggests that if capacity wasn't an issue, we could probably have sold 3k (?) tickets. What percentage does the first group make of the second?

And I've read posts from North East Skyblue (or whatever his name is) "slagging off" all those who don't attend, but I don't then extrapolate his views to encompass everyone who goes to Sixfields.

That type of approach would be more helpful, dare I say constructive - from both sides of the debate.

When have I slagged others off? Has everyone who attends away games slagged others off? Do the majority of fans who attend away games slag others off? If I could quote Grendel, could I have their names and addresses, proof that they go to away games and examples of their "slagging off" :)

They get an admin fee for the tickets they sell themselves. They get nothing for tickets sold by the home club. So if you buy from the home club they get £0, if you have to buy from CCFC they get 5% (?) of the ticket price.

Because SISU get no revenue from away games. Because potential purchasers see that the support is there - merely displaced by SISU. Win win.

Yesterday's gate would have given us the fifth largest gate in the Conference. Preston's following would obviously have been much bigger than any probable away following in that division, so adjusting for that - probably puts us about halfway in Conference attendances. Well Mr Fisher?

That's what I'll be doing at Shrewsbury. Sadly I can't see attending games at Sixfields as being "purely on footballing terms only".

You might not have noticed this, but our crowds have fallen quite well in the last few years without any need for NOPM. Personally, I am hating missing see my team play but believe that it is for the longer term good of my club.

For those who went yesterday, how did Billy Daniels play? On CWR they reckoned that Baker would come straight back in next week and that either Daniels or Thomas would drop out. Any thoughts?
