    91 League grounds

It was the footie. Lived in Bristol for a few years and saw a few games at Eastville (and Ashton Gate) when I couldn't get to City games. Remember seeing City play there in a friendly/testimonial just after Bobby Gould (ex Rovers manager) took over at City the first time. As I recall Gouldy...

    port vale away

As you know, initially it was about avoiding giving a share of the sale to CCFC/SISU/Otium (whichever you prefer). Increasingly it seems to be about dealing with a website that is available and working or with a ticket office that generally answers the phone.

Bugger, left Bristol Rovers off the list

    91 League grounds

Got me thinking about the grounds I'd been to that are no longer there - off the top of my head: Arsenal Southampton Brighton Derby Leicester Shrewsbury Bolton Walsall Chester (I think they moved?) Stoke Plus of course, Coventry!

    Shrewsbury Ticket Needed

    nopm mob

Really? We're bottom of the third division with negative points, under a transfer embargo, have no ground in or near our home city to play in and yet our next game was sold out to City fans more than a week before the match, with other fans trying to get tickets into the home parts of the...

Forth coming problem for the Football League

Well TF has been very clear that SISU have budgeted to make up the lost income and he was given pretty clear feedback at the forums in the summer as to the way that the majority of his customer base would react. Not sure I follow your conclusion. Seems to be that because being in Northampton is...

    Wilson not for sale

To be fair, Gillespie moved under freedom of contract and as I understand the club offered him a fortune (in the terms of the early 80's!!) to stay. Oddly, he decided he'd be better off at Liverpool.... The general point stands though - and probably always will.

    Wilson not for sale

I am not a particular fan of our current regime, but being realisic, whoever owns us (unless Roman gets bored of Chelsea...) we will continue to be a selling club. Personally, I still haven't got over the sale of Dennis Mortimer!! Just hope that when we sell our more marketable players we try...

Forth coming problem for the Football League

Not at all. TF has repeatedly stated that SISU have budgeted to fund the shortfall in income due to the move to Northampton. As explained above, all they have to do is to provide this in the form of additional equity and there will be no problem with meeting the guidelines.

Who does the best pies ???

Is this the 5 minute argument or the full half hour? (for the older members of the site......)

    Hoff on the Hill?

I'm afraid that mine has been waterlogged for some time :D

    Hoff on the Hill?

That is of course true. My point was that, in my view, these minutes are far from the "smoking gun" that some have suggested. As usual with CCFC, there are many unknowns!

    Hoff on the Hill?

Can I suggest a different perspective? For my sins, I've sat on various company Boards since 1985. Whilst all Boards are different, there are some things that are generally common. For example (generalising, I accept) there are 2 ways to present a proposal. The first (which I always favour...

    Hoff on the Hill?

People will have their own views. I know you have reservations. Personally I'd be delighted if he could find a way to help SISU depart with the club still intact. I appreciate that a lot of those type of posts are just people on the wind up, but every now and again you just think - grow up...

    Shrewsbury Sold Out Both Offices

Think it's pretty unlikely as they've been selling tickets in all the other stands to home fans, so can't see how they'd segregate another section.

    Hoff on the Hill?

Bored shitless of this! A few posts above, we have criticism about "free corporate tickets", now we have criticism about standing on the hill with the protesters. Presumably there'll be criticism if he attends away games ("attention seeker") and if he doesn't ("can't even be arsed to go"). Try...
