    Weak Minded Fans...

Actually I think that you'll find that the next one is Shrewsbury. See you there.

No, he's just very bad at maths.

Report from the Hill today -

Depends. If SISU had anything to do with the naming, I'd be pretty dubious!

    Your favourite away games

1-0 win at Wolves. Evening kick off at the end of the 1970 season. Pretty sure that it was the game where we qualified for Europe. Think that Brian Joicey scored. Then the 1-0 win at Villa in the Cup. Our first win there. Least favourite was losing 7-1 at the Baggies.

    In sickness and in health

    Quite correct in my view.

Clive is a bit prone to getting the names of teams mixed up, but that was probably the funniest yet :)

What's the betting that Shrewsbury will be 0-0 :)

    Preston ticket sales

Looking on the bright side, that attendance would have given us the fifth biggest crowd in the Conference yesterday.

Great credit to a young team to come back like that at the end (again).

Hoping for a win today so that we'll be on a roll for next Saturday when I can actually see us play!

    we need a leader

I refer you back to my previous comment. A group that represents circa 20% of an organisations customers...... I've worked in software for a fair number of years. Before that I was a buyer/user of software. All the software companies had user groups. Sometimes the relationship between the...

    we need a leader

As I recall, numbers were estimated at over 5k, so I guess you can probably manage the maths yourself. Was there a point to the question?

See you at the Preston game?

Not sure why recognising that the (vast, in my opinion) majority of the blame sits with SISU means that other parties are then by definition heroes.

    we need a leader

Perhaps because they have a couple of thousand members who (it is reasonable to assume) are/were all pretty committed customers of theirs. So a group that represents circa 20% of their customer base - most commercial organisations would see that as something worth paying attention to.

See you at the Preston game?

Yes, please excuse the sarcasm - I tend to be a little more pissed off on match days! I guess that what it comes down to is that whilst pretty much everyone would agree that there are two sides to blame, some see that as 50/50 and others more like 90/10. Personally, I'm in the latter group.

See you at the Preston game?

Don't you think that moving the club to Northampton might have contributed? Just a tiny bit perhaps.
  17. DazzleTommyDazzle

    How many tickets?

I've followed the club despite never living in Coventry (family came from Cov). I've been going since the 60's, but won't go to Northampton.

playing our home games on a saturday?

That is the general rule, but in our negotiations with Northampton we agreed that they would have priority. Fair enough really - it is their ground after all.

    Telegraph response to Northampton advertisement...

Difficult to ignore such a balanced argument :p
