    SCG Minutes 29th May

Interested to read this section: TF was asked about the business rates story which had appeared in the Coventry Telegraph. TF gave the background that back in 2012 they had reviewed all club business contracts, all invoices, and that they had found several issues and anomalies including council...

    Please Take Us Home!

This is my concern. Even if we accept SISU's position that the only future for the club is with a new stadium, I simply cannot see any logical reason why they don't move heaven and earth to do a short term rental deal with ACL while the new stadium is built. The short term financial impact...

    Fans Forum

I recall that at the time I last studied company law (back in the early 80's) it was pretty standard for private companies to have clauses in their Articles of Association that limited the rights of shareholders to sell their shares to third parties. If this is what is being referred to, it...

    Season Ticket Update

Not sure where you get that opinion from. I live outside "of the Coventry bubble" and every football fan (and I do mean every) that I've discussed this with has been in complete agreement with the approach of the majority of our fans.

    Brian Patton

I think that "other things being equal", it's better if things are out in the open. However, I don't think that they are equal here. We've got a lot of history, (it seems) a lot of bad blood and too many people taking a pop at those involved with the other parties. In these circumstances, I...

I'd agree with that. It's good that they tried and they should only be given credit for that. Just as those who put effort into the SBT and KCIC should equally be given credit.

Awaiting a call from Mr Tim Fisher

The wife had a Range Rover Sport that she loved, but spent more time in the dealers than on the road. On the other hand, I have an XK60 that makes me smile every time I get into it.

Labovitch calls for independent ACL valuation

Completely agree with that point. Unfortunately, it's difficult to see that happening until the JR is out of the way. Perhaps afterwards?????????

    Ccfc & the world cup

Hutch played in the '74 World Cup in West Germany. Jim Blyth, Bobby MacDonald and Ian Wallace were all in Scotland squads prior to the '78 World Cup, but (as I recall) only Blyth went.

Council and Sky Blues in court tomorrow

I look forward to SISU releasing all their internal documentation relating to their time as owners as of our club. After all "if" they "have done nothing wrong then there would be no issue in the documents being made public will there?" "It's not like" we're "requesting personal...

Coventry City given Football League award for providing families with an ‘outstanding

I think they may be suggesting that a Coventry based newspaper shouldn't be concerning itself so much with a football club that plays in Northampton. Other than that, I can't see what the problem would be :)

Andy Turner tells it how it is...

Bluntly, anyone who saw that the club had been given this award - in a season where games have been moved 35 miles away and home attendances have been cut by 80%-90% - and didn't laugh out loud, simply has no sense of humour.

    Away games

It's a very valid point. My Dad is 83 and there is no way he can stand throughout a game. Consequently, he's had to give up going this season. If something could be arranged that would be very helpful.

Reasons not to push for an independent mediator and/or arbitrator

I think that the only way it would be of any real benefit was if it was binding arbitration. Thing is, I'm not sure that either side would go for that. Personally, I've always liked pendulum arbitration - each side puts in their price and the arbitrator has to go for one or the other. Stops...

Labovitch calls for independent ACL valuation

If we ignore the "we've moved on" statements from SISU (which I think most people have), the only way the club will move forward is to agree some sort of deal to get back to the Ricoh. That means that both parties have to put the "bad blood" behind them and try to develop a constructive...
