    Shirt sponsor

We have never been the greatest prize for potential shirt sponsors, but we always ended up managing to get one. I don't think that you have to be "rabidly anti-SISU" or an "ACL Stormtrooper" (apologies if I haven't got the approved descriptions right :)), to conclude that moving the club to...

    How long, accountability ?

    I know that we do.

    Discussion about Petition

Didn't things change when SISU stopped paying rent and then revealed that the company that had the lease was a very different company than everyone had previously understood? I can understand why ACL might have lost trust in them as a business partner.

    ACL out protest

I think that most of us always expected a hedge fund / private equity fund to be "hard nosed and heartless". The issue is that we (or at least, I) expected them to be competent. In this context, my definition of competent would include - not destroying your customer base, not minimising your...

    Discussion about Petition

Can't beat a bit of faux indignation for a giggle :)

    Tony Hateley:

Was playing for us at about the time I started to get interested. As many have remarked, a great header of the ball. RIP Tony and condolences to Mark and the rest of the family.

    Petition for grilling

Not quite sure what point you're making. Are you suggesting that if a business ever takes legal action, then it is no longer logical for them to seek to avoid legal action being taken against them?

    Petition for grilling

Are you honestly suggesting that a sane business would not try to stop legal action being taken against it? Have you ever heard of legal costs, not to mention the distraction?

    Leeds United - Elland Road

I don't expect them to sell the business for a sensible price - so let's hope you're right :)

    Leeds United - Elland Road

If we are to believe that they are serious business people, would it really be credible that they would turn their backs on a much better deal (better/much larger asset, much better crowds in the intervening 5 (?) years) because they don't want to negotiate with ACL/CCC?

    Leeds United - Elland Road

That does seem to be the obvious question that has never been answered. SISU claim to be prepared to spend £20m to £30m on a 12,000 seater stadium, but as far as we know have never offered a similar sum for a much larger stadium - that would also bring them much better revenues in the...

So stadium location will not be announced soon?

He didn't really say "Hitler" - he was misquoted. It seems that it happens a lot.......

So stadium location will not be announced soon?

I wonder how many people are in shock at this revalation....?

Sisu lack of ambition & investment

I'm not sure that they are little :)

    cant get over 10pt deduction

Surely it would only make sense if the party making the offer believed that the party receiving it might misrepresent it to the wider world ;)

    cant get over 10pt deduction

Are there any recent examples of football club administrations turning out to surprisingly only involve a "non-trading property owning subsidiary"?
  17. DazzleTommyDazzle

    cant get over 10pt deduction

There were no football creditors involved in our administration, given that the company involved was only a "non-trading property owning subsidiary".

    cant get over 10pt deduction

I'm in a similar place. From a football point of view, I'd much prefer us not to have the deduction - from a business point of view, if I'd been on the other end of SISU's actions I would have (how can I put this) not been inclined to be helpful.....

    cant get over 10pt deduction

So they would have agreed a different deal that incorporated other things that they couldn't get out of the "unusual" administration process. Doesn't sound that odd and I can't see it as proof of your assertion.
