    Can we do it then?

I would say our next big test is Preston. For some reason we never seem to do well against them and we really need to keep this run going and not chuck points away at home against teams below us.

    Can we do it then?

Today was a big test and we passed it with ease. Its dangerous to get ahead of ourselves and whether we keep McGoldrick, Bailey, Adams and Moussa will have a big bearing on it. But if they all stay and the form continues then I do believe we will make the top 6 and with it being quite tight up...

    Message for Joy Sepella...

I agree with the sentiment but I would extend our need to Bailey, Moussa and Adams who all add something to the team. My only real worry is if a half decent championship club go for McGoldrick then it wont matter what we offer I don't believe he will stay. He also always deflects the question...

    this rent bollocks

Totally agree. Now we only contribute 17% we should only contribute a similar level of rent compared to mortgage and running costs. What is the current mortgage payment? I would assume under the current contract we would be paying the vast majority. Has anyone got a factual figure?

    Hindsight

We should have hired a hitman to take out McGinnity. The man who sold our share in the stadium to Higgs for nothing and was at the heart of all things shit in the Ricoh fiasco and also ousted Eric Black for Peter Reid. Everyone kicks Richardson and Robinson for obvious reasons but McGinnity...

    £170,000 Ave Div 1 Rent?

15k was the figure they used to pay per year not per month. Ipswich Council wanted £115k per year and this was disputed for 8 years with not a penny being paid. It was only sorted this year and according to Alan Brazil on Talk Sport they agreed £30k per year!! On the opposite end of the spectrum...

Would you travel 45 miles to watch Cov play their home games?

Once you move outside the city it's no longer my club. Not a chance I would go.

CET: The deal turned down by sisu revealed

Yes I know who owns it. They loaned some money and got it back. Taxpayers money returned. Who does pay for running the stadium if ACL Ltd incur losses and who will pay if they don't fullfil their mortgage payments? Please enlighten me.

    JPT Game On Sky

I think pretty much all the JPT finals have had between 50 - 73k crowds so if you wish to be there it shouldn't be too much of a problem. I think people are over stating the desire of going to thi sfinal should we get there. I'd be surprised if we sold more than 30k. I know several who go to...

    Sky Blues' Ultimate Legend

Its hard to look past Jimmy Hill but from a players perspective I'd say Ian Wallace who was my first footballing hero as a kid.

    Prediction time.

I'm still on the fence. Our form is good but we are playing Walsall, Hartlepool, Scunthorpe, Portsmouth, Colchester etc not exactly the cream of the crop. Decembers results and which players stay will decide where we end up in my mind. The form says top 6 is possible but my head says top 10...

    A comparison - Swansea & Ospreys

I think if you look into it that its a case of anything goes on the rent front. Man City £3M per year, Ipswich council wanted £110k per year( I believe they agreed £30k in the end accordingly to Alan Brazil), Swansea £0, Hull also have only payed roughly £5k per year, Colchester £300k, Walsall...

Where do SiSU get there figures?

I agree but lets not kid ourselves they stepped in to save us. The council stepped in with a short term loan with the condition they would be in control of some nice land development potential. ACL were set up by the council and this meant the council could get their cash back leaving ACL with...

Where do SiSU get there figures?

Its got nothing to do with the size of the stadium. Man City pay £3M per year for their 48,000 seater. Ipswich had a long period paying nothing as they didn't want to pay £110k per year with a capacity of 30,300. It's not worked out pro rata on stadium size. There are a few clubs that...

CET: Nene park a potential new "home"

I don't know why everyone is getting worked up about this. I've got more chance of finding my knob's grown an extra 3 inches overnight than this happening.

Why ACL's rent calculation could be justified.

The club should take all matchday revenue. Its like renting a shop and then also having to give a % of your sales away as well. That part of the deal is cack. What the actual rent should be is another question.
