It seems you are damned if you do and damned if you don't. Why dont we ever here from Joy is the cry and then she speaks and all the moaners that she never speaks moan thats she spoken.
She would be a fool to not give factual info about what we pay and about other clubs rents, especially with...
1/a We had a bad day at the office, but earned a draw
1/b Only bad finishing by Preston kept us in the game. - Both are true
2/a We should have started with Carl Baker - Should have started with Baker
2/b we were right to field an unchanged side
3/a WE are not a one man...
It was really poor today. 20 minutes were okay without being great. Nice pull back for Baileys goal and after that the midfield went on holiday and our defence went into crab mode with endless sideways passing. 2nd half was worse and Prestons equaliser was clearly coming. Should have made...
ACL haven't diversified, it was a venue for football, exhibitions with a hotel and outdoor concert area. They have done what they were supposed to.
I am not saying if the mortgage was nothing we should pay nothing but if you don't think the level of mortgage repayment has any bearing on what...
OSB perhaps you can help answer these questions?
How much is the current mortgage payment?
Is CCFC rent a direct reflection of that mortgage payment?
As ACL claim do CCFC contribute 17% of their income?
Using the rather inappropriate house analogy, if you lived alone and another 5 people moved...
Thats a novel idea getting money for players.
I'd always thought our players came free inside packs of cereal. I distinctly remember Eoin Jess coming inside some Golden Nuggets.
Totally agree. We are edging closer but one or two defeats and we will be further away than we were 10 games ago. Get through December and see what team we have left.
I think all this talk of us not being a one man team and we are scoring from everywhere though is a bit naive. McGoldrick has...
I've still got no motivation over either cups but I can't wait for each league game at the moment. I did go to the last JPT game but I havent been to any other cup games and wont go to the JPT final if we make it. By all accounts we would fill our end 10 times over so I don't think I'll be missed.
This is my understanding they have only payed approx £5k per year since it was opened. I think it is supposed to be more like £500k but they for whatever reason haven't been paying it.
Those figures mentioned are correct. Ipswich have had an 8 year non payment situation because the council wanted to increase the rent from £15k to £115k per year. Was finally agreed at £30k.
The Hull figure is also widely available and is a sore point with some in Hull as the council rent...
I read a report last week that they had only paid about £5000k per year since they'd moved. Its almost nothing. There are local people not happy that the council actually pay rent of £85k per year for the library which is located in the stadium and so make a loss every year as the club don't pay...
I think its pretty clear this league isn't the best and we have only seen 2 or 3 half decent teams against us which makes only 8 wins all the more frustrating. We can't look back and can only hope we can keep this run going and see what team we have left going in to January.
Baker should come back in for Barton.
At the end of the day Robins will pick what he believes is the best team we can put on the pitch and whether we won the last game or not, doesn't come in to it.
I'd sooner start with Baker as he has overcome a lot of critisism to play consistently well for a while now. Barton is showing some signs of improvement and as much as I've criticised him, if any player can turn things around and play well then I'm all for it, but still Baker all the way for me...
We have more pace as a team now. Thats pace running with the ball, without the ball, passing and closing down. We also have more width and are scoring from crosses into the box, good passing moves and the spectacular. Its an allround improvement.
