Game stores in Cov and elsewhere closing

http://www.mcvuk.com/news/read/store-closures-begin-at-game-and-gamestation/093365 GAME in West Orchards and the GAMESTATION store in Hertford Street have closed. My sympathies for the ex-employees there.

Goal difference: City -17; Bristol -29

Almost worth an extra point that. We don't score many but we don't let in many, compared to Bristol anyway.

    Thorn

"Portsmouth probably shaded the first half but I think in the second half, we were much more composed on the ball and played it around really well." "We scored two really good goals and it is a big victory for us as we have waited a long time to get in amongst the other sides." "To be one...

Malky Mackay: Cov "went gung-ho in the second half"

"We were excellent in the first half, but then Coventry came out at us after the break as they're fighting for their lives, having one loss in eight now. They really went gung-ho in the second half, putting two at the back and pushing their fullbacks on as they couldn't get the ball before...

    Thorn Talk

""The first half wasn't particularly good but credit to Cardiff who played really well at times. But after the break, we were able to get hold of the ball and play our own game. "I think because of the second half performance, we more than deserved that result. If you take in the penalty as...

Bristol vs Watford; Donny vs Millwall; Leeds vs Forest; Pompey vs Brum

How many of those games will go our way tonight?

If this season was a movie, then....

.....its approaching the bit in Die-Hard where John McClane waits for a lift to arrive in the exploding Nakatomi Plaza - just before the lift arrives, the lift blows up and McClane shouts in frustration, "great, that's fucking great!"

    Fabrice Muamba

He's just collapsed during the Spurs vs Bolton game. Stretched off, looks like he's suffered a heart attack. Players are off the pitch and play has been suspended.

Must-Wins. Would be nice to win them!

Blackpool. We're winning! it would be nice if.....oh, OK then. Ipswich. Must-Win. Didn't win. Forest. Must-Win. Really. No joking now. Must Win. Didn't win. Leicester. Could really do with winning. Didn't win. Palace. Must-Win. Didn't win. Brum. Must-Win-ish. Didn't win. Decent point but we need...

    1-0 Cardiff!

    COME ON! :claping hands:

If today's point was a Biscuit....

....we should nibble on it and make it last for the next couple of weeks. With our away record can anyone see us getting anything away at Watford or Cardiff? :( In isolation it was a decent point today, but in the context of the relegation battle, 1 point wasn't enough.

"We have to make sure we are going for the win in every game we play now"

http://www.ccfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10269~2641297,00.html Really? Now? Shouldn't you guys have been doing this from, gee, I dunno......the first game of the season?!? What about at Forest when 3 points were there for the taking?

So....more of the same if we somehow stay up?

If we fluke our way out of this mess, I can't see things improving for next season without serious investment and a change in ownership. Maybe League 1 is our best fit. We may even win away from home in that league. Once. This season is a statistical nightmare and its not over yet. Any joy at...

Dougie Freedman: "Cov showed good fighting spirit and that just might keep them up"

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17187903 Hopefully it will be enough. That and a few points away from home.

    Chelsea sack Andre Villas-Boas

On his way to Cov? ;)

Can we play the North every week? At home?

We've beaten Derby, Forest, Leeds, Barnsley & MBoro at the Arena. So, Championship teams, are you North of Cov? Coming to the Arena? Chances are we just might beat you! :claping hands: We would be decent in a Championship Northern League. ;)

They gave us Eastwood, maybe we should give them Thorn

http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/feb/23/wolves-dave-jones-manager Bet they're still laughing their dogheads off after we gave them £1.2 million for Eastwood. Perhaps 'Agent Thorn' should be dispatched to them to say 'thanks' while scouting their best players for us. ;)

"an unnamed player at Fratton Park is earning in excess of £30,000 a week."

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17089723  Pompey should be relegated. End of. Most of City's financial problems are of their own doing, but still, for better or worse, were trying to cut costs (SISU have gone too far for my liking) while paying the bills and tax too.

    Barnsley (H), Leicester (A), Palace (H), Brum (H), Watford (A), Cardiff (A)

Anyone see us getting anything from Leicester, Watford and Cardiff? ..........Nope, me neither. Barnsley, Palace and Brum are no mugs either, even at home. :thinking about:
