    Favourite Intro's To Songs ?

Don't mind a bit of classical, the start of the No3 Symphony by Saint Saens is quite explosive. But away from classical, the countdown start to the Thunderbirds theme voiced by Peter Dyneley (Jeff Tracy) has remained a favourite.

odd ways your car has been damaged

Reminds me of the time when an Iranian student was on long term secondment to us late 70's or early 80's and he bought a plastic pig. He claimed it would hit 80mph and like a fool, I got in it with him to prove it or otherwise. Don't think it managed anywhere near 80, but it did go up on 2...

    Stokes - Confirmed to Bury

Well, he was during Mowbray's time here. Sadly not the same player after his injury. Also, Robins appears to favour athletic wing backs rather than traditional full backs. Just hope the replacements are as good as Stokes defensively.

Must have been the Robin GTI Ghia Turbo model :joyful: Bet the insurance form was entertaining reading too.

odd ways your car has been damaged

Had a Granada 2.8 cruising barge (1987 vintage), came back to it in a car park to find some toerag had smashed the drivers window. Looking inside, all that was missing was the on/off button from the radio. Still involved a lot of hassle (and money) cleaning up the broken glass and driving around...

odd ways your car has been damaged

Had much the same outside Oswestry heading up to Cheshire at speed on the A495. I ducked instinctively when I saw it at the last minute. No artic behind but there was a shower of pigeon feathers falling slowly onto the road behind.

    WHY?

Could well be, who knows? Happy with our signings so far and plenty of time for some more.

    WHY?

None of us have a clue what's going on behind the scenes or any discussions/negotiations taking place In Robins we have to trust and I'm sure come 4th August, we will have a squad ready to challenge for the top 6.

And a Morris Marina 1.8 featuring in the video, must have been a first.

What are you currently listening to?

Afraid I don't recall that one Wingy. Not too hot either on Italian artists from that time so can't even suggest anyone.

    Ronaldo

I suppose comparisons could be drawn between the recent developments within Fiat and the birth of Fiat/Chrysler and the desire of Juve to rejoin the top table of European football. Success in Serie A is virtually a given and I wouldn't be surprised to see Ronaldo lifting the Champions League cup...

    Ronaldo

Ha ha I wish, sadly more buffoon than Buffon. Always rooted for Torino over Juve, favouring the underdog and all that.

What are you currently listening to?

Spent a couple of hours picking out some oldies I hadn't listened to for a while...The Association, Unit 4+2, The Applejacks, Marmalade, Manfred Mann to name but a few.

    Ronaldo

As a former employee - Fiat Chrysler not Juventus! - I fully support the USB union stance.

Conor Chaplin - Signing Confirmed (Finally!)

Given that many of Robins' signings received very little publicity beforehand, I wouldn't be surprised if Chaplin becomes a smokescreen and instead we sign a striker completely off the radar. Too much being played out in public for my liking.

    In The Times today

I'm English by birth with no choice in the matter. However, supporting CCFC was a choice, encouraged by my Dad and Grandad and now proudly passed on to one of my sons. Whilst I hope England do well, it's CCFC for me every time.
